Tanga Loa stood at the edge of the ring, his chest heaving with the exertion of his latest match. The roars of the crowd filled the arena, a cacophony of adoration and excitement. As he raised his arms in victory, his mind was already drifting away from the spectacle and toward Allison, his girlfriend, who was waiting for him backstage. She was his anchor, his solace after the storm of the wrestling world.
As he made his way through the corridors of the stadium, signing autographs and exchanging high-fives with fans and fellow wrestlers, Tanga couldn't shake a sense of unease. Allison had seemed distant lately, and he couldn't quite put his finger on why. She had always been his biggest supporter, her presence a calming force in the chaos of his life. But something had changed, and Tanga was determined to find out what.
When he finally reached the dressing room, he found Allison sitting quietly in the corner, her eyes fixed on the floor. She looked up as he entered, her face lighting up with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Great match," she said, her voice wavering slightly.
Tanga knelt beside her, taking her hands in his. "What's wrong, Allie? You've been acting different lately."
Allison's eyes filled with tears, and she looked away, unable to meet his gaze. "It's nothing, really. I'm just... tired, I guess."
Tanga wasn't convinced. He knew Allison better than anyone, and he could see the pain she was trying to hide. "Allie, please. Talk to me. You know you can tell me anything."
She took a deep breath, her shoulders trembling. "It's just... there's this guy at work. He's been... harassing me. At first, it was just comments, but then he started getting physical. I didn't want to worry you, and I thought I could handle it, but it's been getting worse."
Tanga's blood boiled as he listened to Allison's words. The thought of someone hurting her, of making her feel unsafe, was unbearable. "Who is he?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
Allison hesitated, fear flickering in her eyes. "His name is Brad. He's one of the managers. I didn't want to cause any trouble, and I was afraid of losing my job."
Tanga pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as she began to cry. "You're not alone in this, Allie. We're going to make sure he never lays a hand on you again."
The next day, Tanga accompanied Allison to her workplace. He stood outside the building, his imposing figure attracting curious glances from passersby. As Allison walked inside, Tanga could feel the tension radiating from her, and it only fueled his determination to confront this Brad character.
Allison led him to the office where Brad was working. She pointed him out, a man in his mid-forties with a smug expression on his face. Tanga's eyes narrowed as he approached, his presence casting a shadow over the room.
"Brad," Tanga said, his voice cold and commanding. "We need to talk."
Brad looked up, his smirk faltering when he saw Tanga's stern expression. "Can I help you?" he asked, trying to maintain his composure.
"You can start by leaving Allison alone," Tanga growled. "I've heard about what you've been doing, and it ends now."
Brad's face twisted into a sneer. "And who do you think you are? This is none of your business."
Tanga took a step closer, his fists clenched at his sides. "I'm Tanga Loa, and Allison is my girlfriend. If you ever touch her again, you'll regret it."
Brad's bravado faltered, and he took a step back, fear flickering in his eyes. "I... I didn't mean any harm. It was just a misunderstanding."
"There's no misunderstanding," Tanga said, his voice steady and menacing. "This is your one and only warning. Leave her alone, or you'll be dealing with me."
Brad nodded, his face pale. "Okay, okay. I get it."
Tanga turned to Allison, who had been watching the exchange with wide eyes. She looked at him, tears streaming down her face, but this time they were tears of relief.
"Thank you," she whispered, her voice breaking.
Tanga wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "You're safe now, Allie. I'm here, and I'll always protect you."
As they left the office, Allison's co-workers watched in awe, whispers spreading through the room. Tanga didn't care about the attention; all that mattered was Allison's safety and happiness.
In the days that followed, Allison seemed lighter, as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. She smiled more, and the sparkle in her eyes returned. Tanga was relieved to see her returning to her old self, but he remained vigilant, always ready to protect her from any threat.
One evening, as they sat on the couch watching a movie, Allison turned to him, her eyes filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I would have done without you, Tanga. You've given me so much strength."
Tanga brushed a strand of hair from her face, his heart swelling with love. "You're strong, Allie. Stronger than you know. But I'll always be here to support you, no matter what."
She leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," Tanga replied, his voice soft. "More than anything."
They sat in comfortable silence, the warmth of their love wrapping around them like a blanket. Tanga knew that the road ahead might still hold challenges, but he was ready to face them, as long as Allison was by his side.
Days turned into weeks, and the incident with Brad became a distant memory. Tanga and Allison's bond grew stronger, their love a fortress against the outside world. They spent their weekends exploring new places, sharing laughter and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
One afternoon, as they walked hand in hand through a park, Allison stopped, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Tanga, look!" she exclaimed, pointing to a small gazebo decorated with fairy lights.
Tanga followed her gaze, smiling at the sight. "It's beautiful," he said, wrapping an arm around her waist.
Allison turned to him, her expression serious. "I've been thinking a lot about everything that's happened, and I realized something important."
Tanga raised an eyebrow, curious. "What's that?"
She took a deep breath, her eyes locking onto his. "I realized that no matter what happens, as long as we're together, we can face anything. You've shown me what it means to be truly loved and protected, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Tanga's heart skipped a beat at her words. He had always known that Allison was the one for him, but hearing her say it out loud filled him with indescribable joy. "Allie, you have no idea how much that means to me."
She smiled, her eyes brimming with emotion. "So, what do you say? Are you ready to take on the world together?"
Tanga took her hands in his, his voice filled with unwavering certainty. "I've never been more ready for anything in my life."
As they stood in the gazebo, bathed in the soft glow of the fairy lights, Tanga felt a profound sense of peace. He knew that their journey wouldn't always be easy, but with Allison by his side, he was prepared for whatever challenges came their way.
In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the park and the love they shared, Tanga made a silent vow. He would always protect Allison, cherish her, and stand by her side, no matter what. Their love was a testament to their strength, and together, they were unstoppable.
And so, as they walked hand in hand into the sunset, Tanga and Allison knew that their love was a force to be reckoned with, a bond that could weather any storm. They were each other's rock, each other's home, and together, they would face the world with courage and unwavering devotion
