The protectorate were now in a theater, it was rather sizable, plenty of seating, large rows, seats that were basically just lazy boy recliners, and a screen that spread across an entire wall.

"You are showing us a movie?" Arms Master questioned.

"This has been seen as a more successful universal method to transmit information. Now, please, find your seats. Waters will be provided, however there is a snack counter with access to a lot of snacks." their host explained, walking out of the room.

Assault walked to the door and tried to open it, finding it was unlocked and as soon as he stepped out, he was stepping back inside.

"What? Oh? Oh great, trapped in a movie theater. Well if we are trapped in here, might as well designate a corner." He began.

The screen turned on and a map of the room showed. The doors were marked with "Entrance, Exit, Emergency Exit, Way to Washroom, Way to Snack Room, The Way to home dimension, Revolving door Gag"

"If you would all take your seats, the first part of the info-dump I need to give you over the course of a year will begin." the host announced.

Arms Master and Miss Militia sat down next to each other, both leaning forward to make sure they got every detail they could of what they were going to be shown. Assault and Battery were near the back. Triumph, Velocity and Dauntless, were reclining back in synch with each other in the seats, preparing to watch the movie.

"Hey Host, what's this movie called?" Triumph asked.

"No title, but I like to refer to them as the Story Teller's logs. This covers the Great War." the host explained, before the lights dimmed and the projector turned on.

*A black screen is shown.*

"After it was a sure thing that America could wipe out a city with just one bomb, a scientist turned to father and said "Science has now known Sin" and do you know what father said? He said, What is sin?"

"Ominous." Triumph said.

*Footage of men marching in uniforms, holding flags goes by, followed by men with weapons, showing large formations of men, and then cuts to men storming a building in an urban battlefield-like area. Shows buildinging collapsing and a general on horseback inspecting japanese tanks, before changing to a fly over of a ruined city, all clearly historical footage from around ww2

In the Early 20th Century, the great powers of the old world thought that their role would never end. The Czars of Russia met their downfall at the hands of a bloody Revolution. Western Europe fought a great War against Fascists who sought to build a Reich that would last a thousand years. It crumbled in less than a decade. The Japanese Believed their Imperial Rule was eternal, yet they were the first to have their pride seared away by atomic fire.

"So far no divergence in the timeline. World Wars occurred, or did they fuse into one continuous war that lasted through the first half of the century, Is there going to be a Questions and Answers segment after all this?" Arms Master asked, looking back.

"Why so far back? Must be something important if we cover the basics of the 20th century's first 50 years." Velocity stated.

The United States of America emerged as the worlds great power by the 1950s. Vast Nuclear arsenals ensured that open warfare was a thing of the past, and soon after, America entered a cold war with their enemies. It was a long uneasy peace, a perpetual status quo as though the world were freeze dried and sealed in a vault for a century.

*Soldiers match by, cuts to men in jeeps driving down a large road. Atomic bomb mushroom cloud rising,*

"Cold war continued as expected, no real surprise yet. Potential divergence is when Scion appears in 1982." Miss Militia pointed out.
