troubled

Heeseung takes in a deep breath as he slowly opens his eyes, feeling a weight on his chest. He shifts slightly, pausing when he hears a soft groan. The boy tilts his head down, his eyes landing on the sleeping girl. Rai's head is resting on Heeseung's chest, her eyelashes resting on the tops of her cheeks. She looks so peaceful as she sleeps, her hand resting on his chest. Heeseung lifts his free hand, lightly touching hers. He watches her eyelashes flutter as his hand touches hers, her nose wrinkling slightly.

The boy smiles gently as he wraps both of his arms around Rai, letting out a long sigh as he settles back into his sheets. Rai makes a small sound, Heeseung looking down at her again. Their gazes meet and the boy feeling another smile pulling at the corners of his mouth.

"Goodmorning, sunshine." Heeseung says, keeping both of his arms around the girl. Rai's eyes widen slightly, her cheeks and the tips of her ears turning a bright red colour. She hides her face behind her hands, Heeseung letting out a small chuckle. He pulls his arms away, standing from the bed. Even though he wanted to tease her, Heeseung didn't want to go too far.

"Where are you going?" Rai asks, sitting up from where she had been laying. Heeseung looks at her, trying his best to hide his smile as he sees her still red cheeks.

"I'm just going to get dressed, I'll be back in a few minutes." He says, turning to leave the girl's bedroom. He stops when he hears her quickly getting out of the bed, turning back to see Rai looking worried.

"How's your knee?" She asks, Heeseung feeling her anxiety through their bond. He nods, flexing his leg slightly to show that he's fine. Heeseung had actually been perfectly fine, if a little sore, the night before but Rai was so worried about him that he didn't want to leave her alone. She just looked so tired, and every part of his soulmate bond wanted him to stay with her.

"It's all good, I guess I just needed to stay off of it." Heeseung says, sending Rai a small smile. She lets out a small sigh that's filled with relief, Heeseung resisting the urge to wrap her in his arms.

Heeseung had been stressed out the night before when he had gone into his apartment, wanting to avoid interacting with Dae-ho. He felt bothered that the other boy had just shown up in the building, and that he had been alone in Rai's apartment but Heeseung felt that he had no right to be jealous when the girl had just agreed to give him a chance.
