[Two weeks later...]
Heeseung lets out a long breath as he slowly blinks open his eyes, frowning as the warm morning sunlight streams through Rai's curtains. He turns his head slightly to see his soulmate sleeping peacefully next to him, the boy shifting onto his side to get a better view of her face. Heeseung reaches a hand out, gently tucking her hair behind her ear. He wraps his arm around her waist, pulling the girl closer to him. He closes his eyes again, letting out a pleasant sigh as his breathing syncs with Rai's.
The boy is pulled back out of his sleep by his phone ringing, Rai stirring in his arms. Heeseung groans in annoyance as he shifts onto his back, grabbing his phone from where it sat on the bedside table.
"What?" He says as he holds his phone up to his ear, turning his head to see Rai rubbing her eyes as she rolls onto her other side. Heeseung stands from the bed, leaving Rai's bedroom so that the girl can sleep longer.
"Heeseung, are you with Rai right now?" His manager asks, the boy humming in response. Heeseung flops onto Rai's couch, draping his arm over his eyes.
"Good, we need you two to come down to the film company for a meeting with Dae-ho and his manager." His manager says, sounding stressed and almost annoyed. Heeseung sits up, his body tensing at the mention of Dae-ho.
Heeseung had been trying his best not to look at any of the comments that people had been leaving about his attack on the other boy, Dae-ho's fans fighting with Rai and Heeseung's fans. Dae-ho had stayed quiet online, probably reveling in the drama that was mostly on his side.
"I don't know if I can work with that guy, Manager-nim. I really can't fight the way that the bond makes me act." Heeseung says, his leg bouncing anxiously at the thought of having to work with Dae-ho for the months that it would take to film the drama. Heeseung hears his manager sigh on the other end of the call, the boy hanging his head. He startles when the couch shifts next to him, Rai now sitting with her hand on his back.
