"Here I'll show you my room" Mom was working, my stepdad was god knows where and Billy is probably screwing some girl right now so we were safe. I grab the little ghost girls hand and lead her into my room. I dump out my candy on my bed "Sooo, we have three musketeers Milky ways Reese's and a toothbrush? Jeez stupid healthy rich people" I look over at el she giggles. Her laugh made me feel all fuzzy and warm like I was wearing clothes that just came out of the dryer. But like better.

She points at the Milky Way "what's that"

I giggle "you don't know what a Milky Way is, here try it" I pick up the Milky Way bar. "You know you can take off the ghost costume" I say because I wanted to see the face of personality I'm attracted to so much. "I-I can't. Bad men." I look at her confused for the second time tonight "Bad men? What do you mean bad men" she points a finger gun gesture to her head. Gears are turning in my head as I widen my eyes not exactly knowing what she means but i know it's bad. "Well they cant get you here you're safe" still holding the Milky Way.

El lifts up the sheet.

She has short brunette hair with cute little curls that's slightly covering her eyes but you still see her perfect chocolate eyes that you can just get lost in. and her smile shines brighter then the brightest star in the entire universe or anything I've ever seen. She's beautiful I don't see anyone could ever hurt this girl. I would never

hurt her.

"U-u-hmm here here's the Milky Way" my palms are sweaty but I hand it to her. She takes a minute to figure out how to unwrap a rapper she takes a bite and her eyes widen she looks up at me clearly very pleased with the taste of the candy bar.

"You like it?" I say smiling at the very cute el sitting in front of me. She makes a sound I can only think is a 'this tastes good' way "you can have it" she takes another bite. I'm just amazed by everything the little ghost girl does. "Uhm do you maybe want something to eat" she nods and she follows me to the kitchen. "Let's see" I say while looking in the freezer "dang it we only have freaking eggos" her head shoots up "Ohh okay so we like milky ways and eggos got it" I tease her she laughs with that cute little smile I loved making her laugh.

While walking over to the toaster I drop the eggos off of the plate "shit!" I expect it to fall like it usually does because gravity but it stops 'what the hell?"I thought, the breakfast waffle floats onto the plate I look up and I see el concentrating on eggo and her nose bleeding "uhmm what was that" I say while putting down the plate. El looks at me and I don't really know what the emotion was but like a nonchalant vibe.

"Do you have like powers or something" I point to the waffle.

She nods

My eyes widen because I just guessed not really even being totally serious and I got it right?

"Does this have something to do with the bad men" I ask el intently. She nods. I nod back seeing she didn't want to talk about it.

Wanting to get away from the subject I lead her into the bathroom to wipe her nose I run the rag under some water and wipe the blood from her nose. it wasn't really until now realized how kissable? Her lips were. They were a nice pink, I couldn't take my eyes off them I realized I was just wiping her skin there wasn't any blood I look up and we held a mutual gaze got closer her eyes flicked to my lips they almost touched but we heard a car alarm go off outside and pulled away

Wanting to break the silence, I suggest we watch a movie while eating the eggos (of course). It was just some old soap I let el pick since I figured she didn't get to pick a lot of things in her life

We were under one blanket her head was on my shoulder it was like we've been doing this our whole lives. It wasn't awkward just nice. Then els hand was slowly moving towards my hand, first my pinky then I just interlocked our hands both of us didn't even make eye contact and just looked at the small old tv in my living room. I felt that much better
