"Ok what have we figured out" I say walking into the bus, still holding Els hand.b "We figured we can't just run forever so we need to go to someones house to at least get some food or something" dustin says Lucas and will and mike are conversing on who's house we should go to Mikes.

We get on the bikes. El gets on mine, halfway to the wheelers, we see one of the government vans. "Uhmmm! GUYS!"

I yell "Wh-, Oh shit!" Dustin says.

The van coming right to us its about to hit us then it flies into the air I look back to el and she doing the same thing she did with the waffle, "thats hot" I mutter

The van crashes into the other vans that were behind us with a loud smash. El's nose is bleeding I wonder why it does that. I don't like it, it looks like it hurts to use her powers.

We get to wheelers house and there's two cars in the driveway, everyone's home. Great.

"Mike why would you suggest your house if everyone was home!" Will says

"Yeah mike" I agree. "I didn't think it would be a problem!" mike says while shrugging. "So you're saying your family is okay with 6 kids coming into their house and one has freaking telekinesis, they're perfectly fine with that?" Lucas replies.

"Yeah"

We walk in to the wheeler house, "Oh, Mike! Hey sweetie are these your friends they look nice!" Mikes cheeks turn red from embarrassment. Miss Wheeler was always like this I loved it. "Yeah they are mom" he muttered

"Well just help yourself to the food just clean up your mess, okay!" Miss Wheeler said with peachy smile. We all kinda just sniffle our laugh except mike, (obviously). She walks out to go do some mom things. Instead of just getting food we were going to stay here for a few days and just rest and hide from the government they don't even know where we are, right?

After we got done with eating we went down to the basement to talk about the plan

"So, we just hide out here for a while? Then what we can't just run forever we need a stable plan" Lucas said with his arms crossed "well do you have a better plan, we just have to wore them out they aren't going chase us forever, they're gonna give up" mike snapped, the group agreed.

Sleeping schedule came around. Mike got a bunch of old sleeping bags out of the garage. We sprawled out on the floor, and el put hers next to mine but like not too close, you know? The reason we didn't go out as soon as we got food was because it was gonna storm, like lightning and thunder the whole thing.

I wasn't asleep yet, but the rest were. I think el was asleep but I wasn't sure because she was turned away from me. The thundering was getting too loud for me to sleep.

"Maxie?" El says in a hushed voice

"Yeah" I reply in a hushed voice happy she's still awake.

"i can't sleep" el turns over Im happy to see her face I smile then she smiles back

"Why not"

"Thun-der, can I sleep with you" she hesitated while saying thunder as if she couldn't say it all that right, I think its cute when she can't really say things I don't think its stupid, nonetheless I was still surprised by her offer.

"sure, of course" I say with a soft smile

she wiggles out of her original sleeping bag and crawls into mine it was nice feeling her body heat radiate off of her. We had to spoon to even fit in the sleeping bag, I think el fell asleep as soon as she got in my arms because her breathing slowed and her vibe seemed calmer. Her being calm made me calm. Her clothes smelled like laundry detergent and her hair also smelt good but it wasn't specific, it really just smelled nice. I didn't fall asleep for a while, I wanted to be like this with el forever with her in my arms and we're both safe, I didn't want to waste that by being unconscious, but my eyes were getting heavy and I drifted into unconscious.
