Realizing we feel asleep I didn't know what to do but I didn't want the little ghost girl to leave I never wanted her to leave me now that I've had her I can't let her go. It was a Saturday I didn't know what else to do so I called the party.

"Lucas you there, over" I say into the walkie in my room do I didn't wake el up

"yeah I'm here, over" he responds

"I need you to get the party to come to my house, over" I wait for him to respond

"why, over"

"Because Lucas please just do it, over"

"Fine, over"

I hear a knock on my door I spring up from my chair its only been about maybe 10 minutes

"Finally, now just be quiet well talk in my room just be quiet" I say in a hushed they put down their bikes and head inside. They notice el immediately and all give me a look like 'what the hell have you done' I just put my finger to my lips and lead them to my room candy wrapper still on the floor, and close the door.

"Who the hell was that?" mike says suspiciously while squinting his eyes "Yeah and why is he in your house" dustin says the same way mike did. Will and Lucas look like they agree but I turn my attention to dustin

"Okay, first off, she is not a he, and she has a name" I say in a defensive tone dustin backs off.

"Care to explain, max?" Lucas says

"So when I was walking back from halloween I ran into her and I asked if she wanted to walk with me and she said yes and I asked if she wanted to come back to my house to hand out I make her eggs witch she loves the n she falls asleep on my couch"

I breath out a long needed breath after summarizing last night leaving out the butterfly parts, They didn't need to know that.

After taking that in mike starts talking " so what do you want us to do" Mike says like he doesn't even care at all which I don't know how anyone can not care for el "I don't know!"

Then el walked in

"What's going on, Maxie". She said sleepily her curly short hair was so cute when it was messy. The boys gave me a look after the nickname I ignore them.

"Uhmm nothing el we were just talking" I said nervously "who are these people" she said it seemed like she was a little aggravated "hey look el we are not going to hurt we're friends of max, I'm mike" mike holds out his hand el looks at me and I do a hand shaking gesture and she awkwardly shakes his hand just stares at her. El's face changed from a mad to an uncomfortable face.

"Okay mike stop staring at her you're making her uncomfortable" mike turned around like I was ruining his moment to get with el. "How do you know you're not in her mind" mike barked at me "first, just look at her face and body language which I wouldn't expect you to understand because you're already failing language in school!" I barked back "well let's ask her!" Mike says

"Fine!"
"Fine!"

"Guys! Stop why are we fighting?" Will cut in. Will always stopped the fights that happened in the party mostly between mike and me.

Me and mike both were silent. What broke the silence was banging on the door.

"U.S GOVERNMENT LET US IN OR WE'LL COME IN BY FORCE"

"What the hell?!" I yell in a hushed voice. El looks like she's been caught "El are these the bad men you were talking about?" El nods.
