"Okay bye guys" I say while waving goodbye to the party. They wave back. The night wasn't quite over especially trick or treating but I was getting tired and wanted to go home. Just walking thinking zoning out just not really paying attention until I run into someone. "Sorry!" it was definitely a girl but I couldn't see her face because she was wearing a sheet over her head as a ghost costume.

"Y-yeah it's fine it's totally my fault." I wanted her to talk again I just really liked hearing her voice. Just made me feel at ease. I don't know we'll worry about that some other time. I surprised myself when I asked her "you wanna walk with me I gotta do a couple more houses" I didn't really plan on that but I just wanted to get know little ghost girl better. "U-mm I kinda gotta get back to my dad's house" she says while having her head down.

"Oh come on what's the worst that can happen" I protest I really didn't want her to leave. "Fine" she says as lifts her head up. "Sooo what's your name my names max" she looks up "Maxie" she says to me. I don't reject the nickname, I think it's cute. "Yeah, Maxie" I say smiling at her as we're walking down the sidewalk. "It's el" she says I respond back with a confused face "like Eleanor" "just el".

"well el I wondering if you wanna come to my house to sort through my candy I mean you don't have to come just I kinda want you there"I say not entirely confident of myself "Sure"

I don't think she wanted to go to her dad's house now so much.
