Introduction to another world

A spell was cast
It sent me to the ghost world
But my body was asleep in the world of the living
She came,my mortal friend
I went over to her
Grabbed her hand
And pulled her from the world of the living

To bring a mortal to the ghost world
Was against the rules
It had consequences
I was the only thing keeping her mind and body from permanently separating
Depleting part of my lifeforce in the process
For I am a being with no name
One that defies the rules of worlds

The ghost world is a world of tangible illusions
Anything can be real as much as it can be unreal
Possibilities are almost endless
Time is just a fluid concept

We were together
In the ghost world
I showed her
As I created simple surroundings
With multitudes of colors and shades
As we sang and danced
Smiled and laughed

And I swear
As I stared into her somewhat dark eyes
I saw something new
Or perhaps
Something that hadn’t been there in
sometime
It was good
But also risky
And that’s why I brought her to the ghost world
Because
You could simply create what you believe in
What you hope for

I took her there
To show her that no matter what world you are in
As long as those possibilities live in you
Even if the world dies
You can go on living

As I felt my body weaken
And my thoughts blur
I knew I couldn’t keep her there any longer
I held her hand
Then finally sent her conscious mind back to her body
To the world of the living- as they
called it.

I knew that unless she wanted to forget
She would remember
It would be as vivid as her heart and mind would allow.
