I’m here
All alone and lonely too
A lump in my throat
Trapping my breath
Tears fill me up
Ready to overflow
But I bite my tongue
Bite back the tears
Clear my eyes
Muster up a blank, content facial expression
As best I can
Each time,
Feeling the air around me turn stale
For a moment,
I fail to breathe- asphyxia
But then, soon
I can breathe, talk and do things normally
At least,
As normal as I can do things
As normal as I can be
