“Hey!...is something wrong?” I asked when we came out from the Cinema.
Then worry rush up through his system. This is what he’d been afraid of, that maybe Summer is going to end up their relationship. This few weeks Summer had been distant to him.
“No…I was just stupid about the movie” she answered.
“You sure?”
“Yeah, maybe I should call this a day Tom. Im tired and I gotta go…”
“So early? Can’t you just stay a minute for pancakes?”
“Well..pancake is good”
While their eating…
“Tom ive got to tell you something…”
“What is it?”
“We should stop this…”
“Stop what?”
“This!”she said allowed while waving her hands in front of him like stating the situation. “Im tired of this…Im sorry but were done!”she said then hurriedly got out of the restaurant.
“Summer…” is the only word that got out on my mouth.
The next day he found out that Summer resigned in the company and moved out. Now Summer is nowhere to be found, together with his heart. His whole life is sinking like the titanic bumped on an ice berg.
The days past and his life came back the way it is. BORING. But there always an empty space within is heart that is waiting to be filled up.
