I have noticed a lot of people commenting about Meloni's age. I made her 17 because Jesse is 17 and I wanted them to be friends. 

And I live in Sweden. It does not work the same way in the US. In the US, you both have to be 18. In Sweden, when you turn 15 you are allowed to date and have sex with someone the same age as you or older. When you turn 15 in Sweden, you can first have legal sex. 

I didn't think about the different laws in America when I wrote this. And if it bothers you, I'm sorry, but I didn't think about it when I wrote her age. I'm thinking of changing her age to 19 in season 2. Honestly, these comments about Meloni's age and the age gap take up a lot of mental energy. So if it makes you more comfortable, I can change it.
