❁ GARGI'S POV ❁
Having successfully completing my post graduate studies in Harvard Business School, I returned back to India.
"Ughhh" I grunted after a very long journey.
The airport scenery took me back to two years ago, reminding me of the day I waved goodbye to my parents and left to study abroad.
"Finally! I am back" I pandiculated in the middle of the airport, looking for a board named "GARGI".
As I looked around, I saw an old man in his sixties holding the board "GARGI". I smiled and went towards him, pulling my suitcase and backpack along with it.
"I am Gargi Chacha. Can we go?" I asked him to which he nodded "Sure madam ji"
We walked along through the exit of the airport and reached the car parking area. The sun was extremely bright seeing me and maybe decided to burn me down as a welcoming ceremony. This made me impatient as I waited for the driver to bring the car.
I was delighted seeing the love of my life, Lamborghini Huracán at the entrance and jumped with joy. Driving abroad needed different techniques than in India. My lazy-stupid-brain did not wish learn driving there since I knew I would be coming back here. I preferred to stick with the license I got in India.
I passed a devilish smirk at the driver chacha. He immediately knew what was going in my mind and said
"No ! no ! no ! choti madam ji. Sahab will definitely kill me if I let you drive" The man humbly said, yet, terrified.
"Ah! Relax!!" I said chuckling
"I am tired anyways chachaji . This time I am letting it go" I lifted my eyebrows and entered the car.
I had always got what I wanted. I was not the typical 'ameer baap ka bigadi hui aulaad' type girl, however, I had always been showered with whatever I wanted.
Drifting back from my thoughts, I scrolled through the internet news feed.
"Akshay Singh Oberoi acquires yet another telecommunication company" The news read.
"Oh! Dad!" I muttered chuckling to myself.
"Don't worry dad. I've worked so hard all these years. I will be a good heir to manage all our businesses" I mumbled scrolling down the pages,
"Legendary entrepreneur Akshay Singh Oberoi's daughter turns 23 this month, will she be the heir to the businesses he owns ? " my eyes widened at the final lines of the news.
Dad had made it very specific to avoid the focus of media in my personal life. In fact, he never let me come in front of the paparazzi.
I read the last lines once again.
