DAY 1 OF EXILE

❁ GARGI'S POV❁

My mother stood at the front gates, looking at me, as I turned to leave the mansion. Honestly, I didn't care.

Had she really cared, she would have stopped me. But, she did not.

It was them.

They wanted me out of the house. I did what they wished for.

With no money, no water and no food, I was left in the streets.

All I had, were the clothes I was wearing. No spare.

"Life can be difficult sometimes, Gargi. Everything's gonna be fine. Just six months," I bit my lips.

The sun once again laughed at me like a scoundrel.

It was his time to punish me, it seemed. For a girl like me who was born in Air Conditioning and brought up in a very comfortable environment, this was hell.

He shone brightly with all his might, trying his best to burn me into ashes.

With sweat dripping all over my body, I stood under a sunshade, trying my best to pull myself together.  My tummy began making growling sounds, I was extremely hungry.

All the makeup I was wearing melted and started flowing down like pools of pancakes.

It seemed I got fooled by a makeup company that says "WATERPROOF"

Maybe they had a valid point saying "We said waterproof, we never said sweatproof"

It was the first time I had ever walked so much !

I wanted money. I needed it.

I thought of something for a while sitting on a deserted bus stop which was a little far away from home.

Some passers by were mocking at me for my face. Obviously they were right because I resembled Langur which had eaten sour Angur. (Langur- Monkey , Angur- Grape)

But no matter what happened. I would not beg anyone for mercy. Not even my father.

NIGHT 1 OF THE EXILE

It was wrong to steal from someone.

But you can steal from your own home, right?

Or, not?

This brilliant idea popped up in my mind after I spent about seven hours under the scorching sun.

It felt like I had glowing bulbs all over my head. Hehehe. I was smart, wasn't I ?

I rushed back home and looked at the mansion.

"Ah now I got an idea!" I muttered to myself

I knew the where cctv cameras where installed, where the guards were placed. Mr.Oberoi, furthermore, would would not return home for a while since he would have his meetings.
