The title is simple and unique. 'The smirk' suggest amazement or arrogance of 'an oracle' or curse or prophecy. Which is exactly what's being portrayed in the story. It's also memorable because of it's uniqueness.

The blurb is brief and clear, not much information squandered which makes it more mysterious. I loved how simple and straightforward it is. Just a little bit of correction on the grammatic error, I guess it should be 'shipped off' not 'of'. Otherwise the blurb is good.
