Jay and Shloka were going home, coming after a hectic day of work and climbing steps was not the thing they look upto while going home. With humid weather of Ahmedabad and thinking about climbing steps is more exhausting then really doing it.
"Bhai yaar I just want rain now, with these short cycles of rain it just makes you sweat more and not feel the cool breeze of rain that the movie shows" Shloka whines dabbing napkin on her face to whipe off the sweat.
"You have just come from practice, so I think that is what is making you sweat more and not the humid weather" Jay said patting her back while Pooja just sighs tired from continuous dance practice.
It was not as easy as she thought afterall, when she had discussed her passion for dance as career with her father, he had warned her about hardships she might have to face as it was not a professional job that was looked upto in our society as 9 to 5 jobs. If she was a teacher working from 9 to 5 it was very good but if she is working at the same time at the dance studio it was nothing as such great she was doing, she chuckled at the irony.
Casually Jay puts his hand over her shoulder, pulling her closer to him he gave her a small smile and said,
"Don't worry I will give you Jay Special Coffee when we reach home, you will feel energised, Okay?"
"Aww, Thankyou! what will I do without you?" Shloka said pulling his cheeks.
"Hey! Hey! Move away from me you lady, you stink a lot, Gosh don't stay anywhere near me" Jay said separating himself and creating some decent distance between them.
"Huh and here I thought I was talking to Jay normally" Shloka says twisting her lips, turning her face on road they were walking she spots Priti scrolling her mobile.
"Well are you sure you don't want me anywhere near you?" Shloka asks looking at Jay with a mischievous face, frowning Jay looks around and watches Priti scrolling her mobile, just glances around and meets his gaze. Surprised, her face brightens up looking at Jay walking towards her while Jay cringes thinking of her but forcefully smiles and Shloka waves at her.
Priti excitedly walks upto them, giving Jay smile she turns towards Shloka and asks
"Hey Shloka, How have you been? Long time no see?"
"Umm, Hii Priti I am good, what about you?" looking bit awkwardindly between Jay and Priti for turn of events as she was not expecting Priti to talk with her.
"Great, You know last time I was applying for this Hospital, I am not accepted."
Shloka who was smiling hearing, thinking she got accepted, her smile wavered after hearing last part and could ony reply with 'Oh'
"So I am going shopping, are you interested? Join me, anyway it has been a long time since we spent time together."
"Huh?" Shloka says shocked for this sudden invitation.
"Come na, it will be fun, we can get manicures too? What say ?" Priti asks in excitement not noticing that Shloka is still shocked.
Priti, by proffession she is nurse and personally daughter of Sarla aunty who eye rapes Jay and never speaks with anyone other than him in house. Last time Ashish and Shloka had made a effort of talking to her but ended up in vain as she just gave them nod and moved out giving them attitude. And then except Shloka no one had even made a small effort of exchanging pleasantries.
"Vo actually, I am sorry but I am too tired to even walk so I can't join you, extremely sorry." Shloka said patting on Priti's back after reeling from initial shock. Jay who was watching all this event happen with his eyes wide couldn't come with the term to fact that Priti had completely ignored him and was focusing only on Shloka and giving her invitation of going out too.
