San had finally finished folding clothes. He placed them on the display table in the front of the store. He checked his watch and sighed with relief. It was time to clock out. His feet hurt and he had been working all day. San went to the back to clock out.

"Clocking out?" His manager asked.

"Yeah! I'm so tired and I have so much homework." San said grabbing his bag and jacket from the back.

"Geez good luck. I don't miss a day of school." She shook her head and continued to hang clothes up.

"Thanks. I don't blame you. I wish it was over already." San laughed and headed out the store.

"Wait san. Is this yours?" She asked holding up a ring.

San looked at it then looked at his hand, realizing his ring was missing. "Oh god yes! Thank you!"

"It was on the floor. It's a pretty ring."

"Thanks it was a gift from my boyfriend..." San said putting it back on his finger.

"Anyways have a great night San. Get some rest." She said.

"Thanks I will. Bye." San walked out the store and took out his phone to call wooyoung.

Honestly, San had taken off the ring on purpose. A week ago wooyoung had stopped smoking. He was now on treatment and San was a little stricter on him. It seemed like a good thing. But it wasn't going how San envisioned. Some days wooyoung would be completely fine. Maybe he was distracted enough to ignore the urges. But other days it was like he was a different person. San knew wooyoung wouldn't be happy through the whole process, but he didn't expect the constant fights they would have.

Meanwhile wooyoung was at work as well. He worked at a restaurant in the same mall. It was on the other side of the building, near the parking lot. He was cleaning the outside tables at the restaurant.

"You think the boss will be pissed we switched jobs?" Wooyoung's coworker asked.

"Maybe, but if shit is done why complain?" Wooyoung shrugged. "Plus I'm tired of washing dishes."

"Cause it ruins your edgy nail polish?" His coworker laughed.

"Ah shut it. My boyfriend did it. So I like it." He said looking at his nails. They were pained a dark purple.

"Oh yeah I forgot you had a boyfriend. I've never met him." The other said.

"I guess you haven't. Well yeah he exists." Wooyoung replied.

Wooyoung had worked at the mall a little longer than San so he was a little surprised his friend hadn't seen San.

"And you paint each other's nails? Cute. Im jealous."

"Sucks cause you can't have him." Wooyoung teased.

"Whatever." He laughed.

"Speak of the devil." Wooyoung said seeing San walk over.

"Wooyoungie I tried to call you. Why didn't you answer?" San asked sounding annoyed.

Wooyoung rolled his eyes. "Cause I told you I'm not gonna answer your FaceTimes anymore just call normally."

"I had to walk through the big scary empty mall by myself." San pouted and hugged wooyoung.

"But you made it in one piece." Wooyoung hugged back and pecked San lips. "Plus I'm technically still on the clock.."

"Oh sorry! Why didn't you tell me I was interrupting?" San pulled from the hug.

"It's fine my manager left by now I couldn't get in trouble."
