Hongjoong was walking along the street. The seasons were already changing, so it had been raining a lot. He looked up at the sky seeing dark clouds and smiled. Hongjoong really liked the rain. Something about the sound and the gray tent it left on everything.

He pulled his hood over his head and quickly walked across the street to a small apartment building. He went up the stairs and knocked on a door.

"Who is it?" A voice asked before the door slowly opened.

"Hyung.. what do you mean? I told you I was coming. I texted you." Hongjoong said in an annoyed tone.

"Joong? Oh sorry I was sleep all day." Yonghwan admitted scratching his head.

"All day? You need to stop working late." Hongjoong shook his head and went inside.

"I have to. You'll see when you grow up." He yawned.

"I'm not a kid anymore.." hongjoong pouted.

"Yeah but trust me. You'll be a slave to the system one day too." He sighed.

"You sound like an old man. Anyways I brought us food." Hongjoong said putting the bag of food on the living room table.

"Food?" The older asked looking in the bag. "Oh my god. I love you hongjoong." Yonghwan said hugging Hongjoong.

"Hah! You paid for me last time I'm just paying you back." Hongjoong shrugged and patted the others back.

"Hey, you owe me much more if we count the amount of free food you got from when I worked at the corner store." Yonghwan teased grabbing them beer from the fridge.

"True. Why did you even do that? You're a weirdo for buying a kid food." Hongjoong said opening the box of chicken that he brought.

"Yeah? I mean I felt bad that you were crying and alone. It was a bit of an inconvenience but I'm glad in the end." Yonghwan shrugged and sat down with Hongjoong.

"Yeah you are my favorite hyung." Hongjoong said.

"Aw shut up. You're so cute." The other laughed.

They both enjoyed the food. Hongjoong and Yonghwan grew closer over the few years. Somehow they just clicked. They were interested in all the same things and were very similar. When hongjoong didnt want to go home he would stay with him. He was like a brother to him.

"It's been like a whole month since we've talked." Yonghwan said.

"I know we've both been busy."

"So how's school? How's your family been?" The older asked.

Hongjoong laughed a little before gulping down some of his beer. "Family? My mom's still a bitch and my dad's still a pussy."

Yonghwan shook his head. "You curse your parents so easily. I could never imagine saying those things."

"Well I wouldn't say it to their face." Hongjoong shrugged.

"Of course not. I'm sorry that they upset you so much." Yonghwan replied.

"I guess school has been good. I'm just tired of my family lately." Hongjoong said.

"Oh? Why's that?"

"Well the main thing that's been on my mind lately is my brother." Hongjoong admitted. "He's been trying to talk to me a lot. And he's like 'hongjoong let's grab lunch' and 'let's grab dinner'."

"Maybe he misses you and wants to spend time with you?"

Hongjoong shook his head. "It feels like he's trying to make up for not being a good brother when we were young."
