After being unsealed, Cid- Shadow stood in the middle of the battlefield seemingly wounded and tired after fighting for a long time.
He was injected by countless doses of poison strong enough to kill a dragon and inhaled multiple smoke sleeping drug capable of giving him strong intoxication messing with his mental capabilities.
Facing off against countless otherworldly beasts each one are enough to wreck chaos across an entire country, behind those beasts are the 5 last remaining Knight of rounds with the help of 4 tamed powerful dragons and The Witch of Calamity herself, Aurora who grows stronger each minutes pass by...
Shadow cast a magic barrier to prevent anyone or anything entering and leaving the scarred torn-apart battlefield.
He can hear his subordinates pleading him to open up the magic barrier and aid him but decided to ignore them.
Despite using his power for the sake of having fun he is still a genius when it comes down to it
Having a deep knowledge and understanding in magic.
Shadow sighs and shortly look to his trusted shades then smiles wryly after that he glares to his opponents.
"Hmm.. i never thought i'd be cornered and push back against the wall, It was my carelessness and curiosity to be foolish enough to fall to such traps..."
Despite being intoxicated and being almost semi unconscious he was still able to say those things. he is pumping magic throughout his brain to slow down the intoxication effects of the drug
'that artifact that they created... A troublesome artifact capable of absorbing my magic and transfering it to the beasts and to themselves thus limiting my magic usage even more...'
He was talking about a shining white armor-like appearance with gold covering the entire hand, the artifact is covering the entire left arm of someone who seems to be the leader of the cult
'i could buy enough time to the people who arent capable to fight and evacuate with my barrier magic-'
While thinking to himself, he suddenly sensed a strong magic attack coming below the ground, He flew back far enough to see the entire area of the ground he used to stand on filled with bloody spikes.
While flying back, he was attack by one of the dragon who flew behind him and unleashing its own fire breath attack.
Twisting his entire body to narrowly avoid taking the attack head-on, he grip his ebony blade and struck the dragon with strong slash directed to the dragon's head but somehow the dragon avoided the lethal attack by flying to the side but it still manage to cut off a small portion of its left wings.
The dragon retreated sensing the danger of pushing further then roar at shadow.
Shadow slowly landing to the ground takes notes of the intoxication and poison affecting and reminded himself to avoid those attacks again...
Before completely landing to the ground he focus to use magic to purify good small amount of the poison running through his blood.
'I'll use a few seconds purifying the poisons and the intoxication if i deemed it safe enough to do, Solid plan...'
He looks at Aurora who was still getting stronger each moment then grinned
Shadow: This is the thrill of the fight i was longing for a long, long time...
Unleashing his bloodlust that shakes the battlefield.

After dreaming this exact story for a few days now its been bothering me ever since and its still lingering in my mind so i decided to just fuck it and create this fanfic.
This is my first fanfic i hope you enjoy.
I'll try putting more words in the future chapters, this chapter is only meant as a teaser.
