Cid cutting through the dense forest going straight to Midgar.. He is carrying a sack filled with wallets he stole in the Lawless City, Smilling thinking on how much money he got and the blood queen..
'A trip to the Lawless City to get more gold then accidentally triggering a unexpected Plot?! Oh just what is my luck! I should keep an eye on whats going on in the Lawless City for development and Alpha and the others to join me..' Thinking to himself, he couldnt control his feelings, an unexpected thrill.. "Teaming with a powerful individual sounds cool too.."
Just a few moments passed, Cid finally returned to the familiar streets of Midgar. slowly walking to the quiet neighborhood where he lives and the moon shining upon him.A sense of nostalgia suddenly hit him. It had been too long since he'd been here, and he realized just how much he missed the simplicity of his everyday life in Midgar.
Pushing open the door to his room, Cid looked around, Some of his stuff was just the same as he left but noticing that few people went to his room while he was gone.. he suddenly felt a bad gut feeling that he just did something he shouldnt have. The bed is messy and the table filled with books scattered on it, a faint layer of dust coating the furniture. Despite all the excitement and chaos he'd been through, there was something comforting about returning to a place where time seemed to stand still.
He dropped his bag on the floor and flopped down onto his bed. The familiar creak of the mattress and the scent of his room made him feel strangely at ease. "It's good to be back," he muttered to himself, closing his eyes. he drifted into deep sleep.
...
When Cid awoke the next morning, he felt more rested than he had in ages. He stretched out his limbs, For a moment, he simply lay there, staring at the ceiling, enjoying the calmness of his room. (Author: True for everyone :p ) Eventually, he decided it was time to get up and explore the town. He hadn't seen it in a while, and it would be nice to take a morning stroll and see what had changed.
After getting dressed, Cid stepped out into the morning air. The breeze of the morning hit his face and the street of Midgar is busling with noicy activities, merchants setting up their stalls, and people going about their daily routines. As he wandered through the familiar alleys and streets.
As he continued his walk, he spotted two familiar figures ahead, his friends Po and Skel. They were standing by a fruit stand, chatting about something. When they noticed Cid approaching, their faces lit up with surprise.
"Hey, Cid!" Po called out, waving. "Where the hell have you been? We haven't seen you in months!"
Cid chuckles "I won a free vacation to a beautiful land far from here" taunting his friends, smirking.
Po raised an eyebrow. "You didnt even think of inviting us in?" visibly angry.
"But dude," Skel continued, leaning in a bit closer, "your sister's been looking for you this whole time. And, uh, she's not happy."
Cid's smile froze, sweat forming on his forehead. "My sister... Claire?" he asked, his voice a bit more strained. This is the gut feeling he felt..
Po nodded, trying to suppress a grin. "Yeah, she's been going around town, asking where you went. And let's just say, she looks really, really furious. Looks like payback is a bitch"
He could practically see his sister's angry face, her eyes blazing with that terrifying wrathful expression "Oh no... I knew I forgot something," he muttered under his breath. He had been so caught up in his adventures and exploring that he hadn't thought about how his disappearance would affect those back home especially Claire.
"Well, good luck with that, man," Skel said, clapping him on the back. "You're gonna need it."
