Author's POV

Night, Hallstatt (11:20 pm)

The whole city was embraced with the effect of the dark night, in deep slumber with streets as vacant as a winter's night. Only if the residents of the city knew, that soon the peace would be getting disturbed due to the chase awaiting to be ensued.

Randeep descended the staircase in the silent alley, after collecting his documents and the fake passport. As soon as he came down, his eyes quickly scanned the area for any occupants, successfully missing the hidden men of Adheesh who were looking at him.

He took a couple of steps towards the street's end, but halted feeling a brooding presence behind him. Hesitantly, he looked behind only to be met with the shadow of a broad man, standing there tall with his face hidden due to the dark. Randeep frowned, not expecting company in the area, while the man smirked seeing the reaction.

Randeep noticed the slight tilt of the man's lips, as he took a few steps towards him coming towards the light. As Adheesh stepped into the streetlight, exposing himself, Randeep's eyes widened in horror. His steps staggered a little, as he tried to move back when Adheesh smirked greeting him, "Khamma ghani, chacha sa!"

The man's face ashened, and without an adieu he turned around into a sprint towards the street's exist. Adheesh spoke clicked his tongue, shaking his head in dismay, "Faltu mein bhagaenge ye ab. Boys, get him."

As soon as Adheesh's voice boomed through the earpieces, several men came out from the area leaving Randeep flabbergasted who was a second away from escaping the place. He had around twenty men circling him from all areas. Adheesh smirked, as he approached the circle of the men with Randeep standing inside like a bait and suggested, "Mat kariye na chacha sa, is umr mein bhaagdaud acchi nahi hai. Vaise bhi pichle kayi saalon se bhaag hi rhe hain. Ab retirement ka time aa gya hai."

Randeep fumed and reverted back in anger, "Tumne abhi tak mujhe pakda nahi hai Adheesh. Aur na hi tum pakad sakte ho."

Just after completing, he instantly brought a gun out and tried to shoot at a man standing just at the peripheral. However, the man ducked at the right time, giving Randeep space to run out of the boundary made by them. He kept shooting at the men, while Adheesh just scratched his brow seeing all the chaos and ordered, "I want him alive. Chase him."

At his order, the men rushed to catch him, however Randeep quickly broke the mirror of a car. Adheesh frowned, and rushed towards his own while his men too settled down in their cars ready for the chase. Randeep accelerated through the roads, with Adheesh on his tail and the others behind him, each car trying to overtake Randeep's.

Ariaa frowned from the limousine seeing the cars leave the area and ordered the driver, "Quickly, follow them."

The driver hesitated but denied, "Sorry Regina, Re have told me not to let you out or take part in something dangerous."

Ariaa's jaw ticked at being denied, and the next second she pointed the gun at the driver's head, "And if you wouldn't listen to me, I will kill you, right this instant."

The man shivered to his bones, and looked at her frightened before saying, "But...but ma'am..."

Ariaa just rolled her eyes and spoke, "Out of the car, I am driving."
