Ryu Si-O is face-to-face with Binbin. His heart and body ached, but he accepted his fate. No more running away from it. Binbin keeps the gun steady on Ryu Si-O's head; however, he seems reluctant to pull the trigger. Sensing his hesitation, Ryu Si-O decided to pour out his heart for the last time.

"I was betrayed three times. The first time was by my birth parents. The second time was by the only woman I loved and trusted. The third time was by the only friend I've ever missed." He said with tears glistening in his eyes. He can see Binbin starting to falter.

"If I were to die, please let me go by only being betrayed twice." He pleaded with Binbin, his voice was broken, a living proof of a lonely man.

By the time Ryu Si-O finished his sentence, tears started to pool under his eyes. He has been crying a lot these past few days; it's almost ironic. Usually. he was the one who made his enemies cry.

Binbin seemed to be hesitating more. He took a deep breath and gestured the gun to Ryu Si-O, asking him to take it. Ryu Si-O was about to take the gun when the door to the gym barged open. Panicked, Binbin went behind Ryu Si-O and locked him in a headlock, pointing the gun at his head.

"SI-O!" Ryu Si-O could hear a voice that he had been missing. He could see a petite figure running closer to them. "You better stop right there!" He could hear Binbin say, his arm locking Ryu Si-O tighter.

Then he could see Namsoon's face as the light shone on her face from where she was standing. He let out a relief breath, glad she was well and alive. He doesn't care if he is about to be shot. He only cares about the girl in front of him. He scanned her figure, trying to see if she had suffered any injuries. She seems to be well, and he let out a second breath of relief.

--------------------

Namsoon is getting anxious. They've been waiting for the police force to arrive for more than 30 minutes but still can't see their shadow. She can't stop shaking, worried about what might happen to Si-O.

I can't do this anymore.

She walked to Heesik and pulled on his sleeve. "Heesik," she said. Heesik turned to look at her. "Yes?" He asked gently. "I can't stay outside any longer. I have to go in." Namsoon said. "What?! No! We don't know what's the situation is inside." Heesik is not fond of her idea.

"I know, but I can't just stay here waiting for the police to arrive. The more I wait here, the more anxious I become. I'm almost not sane, Heesik." Namsoon said with tears pooling under her eyes. She has become so weak these past few days that even her superpowers couldn't help.

Heesik put both of his hands on Namsoon's arms. "I understand you are worried, but what about your mom? She will be worried sick if I let you go in by yourself." Heesik gestured to Geumju.

Namsoon turned to look at Gemju, and then she released a sigh. "I'll convince her. If she gives the green light, you have to let me go in." Namsoon said. "Okay." Heesik replied after thinking for a while.

Namsoon walked slowly to an alert Geumju. She was observing the parameter. "Mom." Namsoon gently pats her shoulder. She quickly turned around as if worried that Namsoon was a bad guy. "Oh, Namsoon-a. What's the matter?" Geumju asked while holding her hands. "I want to go inside the building." Namsoon said determinedly. "What?! No! I don't allow you to do that!" Geumju immediately rejected.

"I knew you would say this. But I'm not asking for permission, I'm only informing you." Namsoon said. Geumju is shocked, Namsoon just got revived from death. She's not going to lose her daughter again.

"Namsoon-a, you were dead a few hours ago. And now you want to jump into the death hole again?!" Geumju asked desperately. "Mom, you know I have to." Namsoon said with pleading eyes.
