Due to the way my dad ran his business which was profitable enough for us to have never experienced any struggle buying things we needed or wanted within reason. We often moved when he got a lot of jobs in one area, if he had enough work collected in one area, then if it created a decent backlog, we would move to that area. Where we live now is actually the longest we've lived anywhere in a long time, and it's only been 2 almost 3 years.
The night after my dads return he informed everyone that we would be having to move again and fast. I was disappointed that I wouldn't get to see my buddies again, but still use to moving, we are moving to another small town, he said that luckily we will be pretty close to where aunt Julie lives.
Aunt Julie is my dads step sister, there parents met at the tail end of my dads childhood, since we've never really lived close to her we only really see her on special occasions. She's a nice enough lady who owns and runs a pig farm inherited from her dad who married my dads mother. She has 4 kids 3 boys and 1 girl. I hear now the boys do most of the physical work in the barn, and aunt Julie schedules pickups and such.
Anyway there wasn't really much arguing it. if my dad said so then it was so, and my mom just immediately started getting ready to move, saying well "no time like the present" "faster we get there the sooner we settle.
My parents agreed with each other that we would move down there in 3 weeks time.
