Wish I could turn you back into a stranger
'Cause if I was never in your life
You wouldn't have to change it

Presumptuous.
Her attempt at escaping was presumptuous at best in a certain man's eyes. She fled through the broad fields of lilies, which eventually lead her back towards him. If one could decipher a way to break a lifelong curse, she, certainly, wouldn't be the genius to do so.
She spent her life running.
He spent his chasing.
Her childhood friend and husband, a once sane man came to be what one could call a wrecking ball of self hatred and pity. A sad being, who could only bring destruction to every place and person he came across. She feared being captured again. Her skin crawled at the mere thought of it. She was only another woman, challenging her fate, just because she was born into this world pretty.
What one desires can always be a curse for the other, that's what she always said when someone felt indignation in their heart, directed to none other but her.
She was but a fragile woman, who not only lacked the training, but also the means to become greater. She had no way of defending herself, nor did she even think about such an act. It would be foolish to act up if she were to get caught again. But that can't happen, she must survive and not watch idly for any longer.
There it is! The train which is supposed to take her far, far away from that awful man's grasp. But, oh, what is this? What is happening?
"We're sorry Miss, it appears as the train is experiencing some technical issues. The passengers will have to wait for a certain period of time-"
She absolutely can't waste a single minute anymore! Out of the corner of her eyes, there goes the man she fears the most in the entire world. Her other half, whom she does not treasure love for at all, walking towards her in long, lazy strides, as if reminding her of her place. Beneath him. Nothing but a mere roach under his feet.
"Wait, where are you going-?! Miss?! Your money-!"
She couldn't afford to let him near her again. Pure nonsense, she had to flee. It didn't matter where, any place in the world without his presence lingering around would be safer than her current location.
'Forest! Perhaps, he'll lose sight of me there, given the mass amounts of trees!' She thought hopefully, rushing as fast and far as her legs could carry her, the only thought of getting away was clouding her common sense. She didn't even think twice of any dangers awaiting innocent souls in such a dark, murky forest.
