First Appearance: When Super Buu first came to Kami's lookout and was looking for the fighter that Jamal promised him that will fight him. Barging in the room of Spirit and Time also known as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, He is met with two kids. Trunks who is the son of Vegeta and Vami who is the daughter of Vomi (Android 21) and Jamal. Thus they did the fusion and fought Buu.
Fusion Gender Explanation: Trunks and Vami are about the same age. The only difference is that Vami was born 6 minutes before Trunks. Thus, making her the oldest out of the two. When training for the Fusion, Trunks and Vami would have to match their power for it to work. Vami being older had a slight higher power than Trunks. Because of that, she has to force herself to power down a bit to meet Trunks power level. And since she had to sacrifice that, when the fusion is complete, it would favor her and make the fusion's gender Female. I hope this helps explain why Vaminks is Female when a Male and Female Fused together.
