MADHUS POV

The rest of the ride was going alright as we would talk about random things. I wanted to ask her about THE movie but felt embarrassed.

Just ask her

But what if she is homophobic?

I mean, I can just ask her.

But if she has seen it and thinks it's disgusting?

AAAAAHHHHH!

After fighting with myself for a while, I finally decided to ask her about something else.

"Um, have you seen Jennifer's body?" I asked.

"Nope," she responded.

"I don't watch much English; I do watch anime, though," she continued.

Anime?

Anime was something I never watched, not even a single one; I just didn't find it fun.

I have never regretted not watching the one mare that I have now.

"Which is your favourite?" I asked.

"Actually, I love the popular ones like AOT, Demone Slayer, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, and JJK!" She exclaimed, God, I wish I knew at least one.

"Oh, that's a lot," I mumbled.

"Is it overwhelming?" She asked, passing me a glance.

"Nah, not really," I assured.

"I also love the movie Kimi no Nawa, and I have also seen Nana, what does tbe fox say and my favorite is  Blooming into you." she said with a smirk. I began thinking about any anime I knew.

Nana...

I feel like I have heard that one.

"Well, I have seen Pokémon," I said, embarrassed at the childish choice.

"Oh, I love Pokémon. I used to watch Shin Chan and Doreamon when I was a kid," she said excitedly.

"Oh, I haven't seen those," I responded.

"Damn, really? We grew up on that," she stated.

"I was a Barbie girl," I declared proudly.

"Oh woah, suits you!" She said this as I frowned.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"You are a Barbie, a gorgeous one, may I add?" she teased.

I felt my cheeks heat up.

Well, this Barbie is a lesbian.

"Ok, so now tell me, what is your favourite movie?" I asked, changing the topic.

"I think KGF, RRR, bulbul, and, oh, I love the movie Pokkiri." She said, but I was not satisfied.

"What about Korean? Have you seen any?" I asked, hoping for her to say yes.

"Hmm, not much; I have seen Train to Busan and some thrillers," she answered as I sat there, slightly annoyed that she did not say "handmaiden."

"Do you like The Handmaiden?" I blurtterd.

"I think I have heard about it. What is it about?" She asked.

Oh shit,

I can't tell her THAT!

Umm, think, Madhu think.

"Oh, I see her," she said, hitting the horn.

God, thank you, Muskan; you are a saviour.

The car stopped as she came and sat in the back seat. The second she got seated, she started blabbering about her day.

"And, I don't know how, but Naveen literally threw a pani puri at me; it hit my face, and now I have a pimple," she ranted, both of us laughing at her misery.

"Don't worry, it will get away," said Ekansha.

"You don't understand. I need something that will make this pimple disappear. I have a date tomorrow," she cried out.

"I have a cream; that will maybe help," I said. She jumped forward and asked me for the name. I typed it on her phone as she added it to her cart.

"You should also help Ekansha; teach her some makeup tips; your skin is literally flawless," she chirped.

"OH PLEASE, I KNOW HOW TO DO MAKEUP!" She shouted, Muskan started laughing, and so did I.

"Hmm, sure, after all, he definitely did not leave you because of your poor makeup skills," she taunted.

He?
