"Alright, everybody remembers the plan right?" Remus, Peter, Sirius nodded their heads. They saw that I wasn't nodding my head too, and turned and stared at me, disbelief on all of their faces. I bit my lip nervously as they all stared.

"Vee, how the fuck do you not remember the plan? MOST OF IT WAS YOUR IDEA!" James panicked, holding his arms up in stress.

"Can we just go over it one more time... Pretty please?" I said, giving them my best puppy dog eyes, wringing my hands together bashfully.

James sighed frustratedly, running a hand through his hair, looking towards Remus and waving his hand at him as if to say, 'Your turn, I've talked enough already'. Remus shook his shoulders out before coming to stand in front of me and put his hands on my shoulders, hunching over slightly so he was right at my eye level.

"Pay very close attention Vee cause none of us are going over the plan again. Alright?" He said, sternly. I nodded my head in response, quickly glancing over to the boys surrounding us. Sirius was looking towards the door of the common room biting his nails anxiously. James was pacing, still running a hand through his already thoroughly messed up hair. And Peter...well he just looked lost in thought as he stared at the fireplace.

"So, we're all going to go down. Sirius, James and I are going to go to Minnie's classroom to set up the prank. James and I are going to transfigure everything, while Sirius quickly moves it into the correct spots. Peter is going to stand at the end of the hallway as the lookout-"

"Wait, I thought I was the lookout?" I said, interrupting him.

"No? What? You agreed to change to the distraction position. You literally said yes. Why are you confused now?" He asked, puzzled.

"I don't remember saying yes?! When did I say yes? I can't be the distraction! I have nothing prepared!" I said frazzled. All the rest of the boys turned to us, namely me, eyes wide and mouths dropped open. I even saw Sirius put a hand over his mouth as he bit his fist, stopping himself from saying something rude probably as he held a hand over his hip.

Remus took his hands off of my shoulders for a moment to run his hands down the sides of his face as an attempt to keep his composure, knowing better than to get himself worked up, before his hands returned to their place.

"Last night, when we were finalizing the plans. Peter said he didn't want to be the distraction this time and you had just come out of the bathroom when we asked if you would be okay doing it instead. You said yes, and we asked if you were sure. You said you could come up with something, and we didn't question you on it. In hindsight we should have gone over it again because you had fallen asleep on my bed about fifteen minutes later. I'm not even sure if you were actually awake for that conversation but we're past that now." He ranted out his explanation to me.

I felt my hands start to shake with anxiety as my eyes darted back and forth between all the boys. "Guys, I...I don't know if I can do it. I don't have anything prepared. I can't even think of anything right now! My mind is totally blank! This was a bad idea doing it today, maybe we should hold off until tomorrow..." I sputtered out anxiously.

Surprisingly, Sirius nudged Remus out of the way, before taking a hold of my shoulders just like the other boy had done. His grey eyes pierced my frantic ones, and for a slight second I felt calmer just looking into them.

"Montgomery. We are already a month into the term already and we haven't even done our first prank yet. We are not pushing it back anymore. You are going to be the distraction and you are going to do a great job. Because if there's one thing I've learned about you over these past few years of knowing you, it's that you're witty. You can come up with a remark to anything and I have no doubt it'll be just as easy for you to lie to Minnie about whatever your head comes up with. Because if you can come up with an insult to throw back at me without even taking two seconds to think about it, you won't even need any time to plan for this. Okay? You're going to be fine...Now let's go." He reassured me, patting me on twice on my shoulder before turning around.
