Chapter 10

The maid was going upstairs when she heard a phone call, she came to the phone and answered it,

"Ummm...please bring my papers, I maybe forget to bring it." Said Diego.

"Yes, sir, I will get it on your room and bring it to you." Said the maid, Diego was about to hang, but the maid said to him,

"Sir, can I bring Diana?" Diego takes silence for a bit and thinks it. "Okay, sure you could, but make sure that Diana will not meet up with Raul."

"Yes, sir, I will." Replied the maid.

The carriage arrived at the mayor's hall.
They got out of the carriage, and the maid was focusing on walking she didn't even look back and check Diana.

Diana stopped by a fountain that was centred in town and in front of the mayor's hall.

Then Rino saw Diana from afar, and he immediately ran to her . Raul was busying picking some tools, and he turned around, checking if Rino was there.

But unfortunately, he lost sight of him. Then he found Rino with Diana from afar.

"Rino, I was looking for you," said Raul while coming slowly. Rino came to Raul, and Raul was again fallen in Diana's visual,

Diana smiled at him, while Raul was open mouthed and was frozen looking at her, he hold Rino's rope and said, " Hey Diana, sorry about my horse, he's being clingy this days,"

"No, really, it's fine," replied Diana

Raul was going, but Diana called them, Raul turned around

Diana came closer to him and said, "You asked me early this morning if I could be your girlfriend." Raul shy smiled and said

"Ohh.. that ummm... just forget it. " Then he was surprise when Diana said to him.

"I will be your girlfriend. Yes, is my answer,"
Said Diana while she bent down and smiled.

Raul goes to a stall and brings a red rose,
he goes to Diana, and he puts the rose on her ear.

They looked at each other, then the wind blown gently , and Raul held her hand and kissed it.

"I thought you didn't answer me," said Raul

"How can I reject you if I already loved you?" replied Diana,

They didn't know that the mayor's hall balcony, there was Diego watching them, then he smirked.

Raul let go when he saw the maid was watching them, she grab Diana's hand and said

"Congratulations, I wish you both the best." Raul and Diana smiled, and they left.

it was night,

Diego was sitting on the table by himself. He called the maid.

The maid came to the table while she wiped her hands as she was doing the dishes

"Yes, Sir?" asked the maid.

"So? Did you really take an eye on her?" answered Diego

"Yes.. sir, I haven't even seen Raul, " replied the maid. "Good... very good.. you should continue.

The maid left.

Diana was in her room.

She sat on her bed, and she smiled

she goes to the balcony to see stars but she sees not stars but her love,

Raul waved at her, and he immediately put the ladder on the balcony and climbed.

Raul was holding a bouquet, and he gave it to Diana and said

"Hi, here's for you. This is your favourite."

Diana took it with a smile, but her smile turned to worry and said

"My father would see you here," said Diana,

Raul climbed on her balcony,

he held her hand and said, "Can we date tomorrow?.

In the garden, the maids were going to the storage house when they noticed a ladder and asked the other maid

" Did you use the ladder?" the maid replies

"Nope, I think we didn't have a ladder in the mansion. You should put it on the storage house or Sir Diego will find it we will get scold"

"Okay," said the maid, then the maid took the ladder, and they left.

Diego was going to his room, but he stopped at Diana's door.

" Yes, sure, I loved to,"replied Diana with a smile

Then, someone knocked on the door

" Diana, are you in here? Can you please open the door?" said Diego,

"It's dad Raul hide."

Diana throws the bouquet on the other side of the balcony,

Raul was about to step on the ladder when he slipped

and realise the ladder is gone. He put his hand on the floor of the balcony and hung up.

Diana goes to the door and opens it "Dad" said Diana, nervous,

her father came in

"Why are you not sleeping?" said her father.

He then goes to the balcony

Diana was worried if he found that Raul was in her room.

Dad, are you not going to bed? Is it already late? " said Diana

"It's beautiful here, Diana," said Diego.

"Yeah, it's beautiful, that's why I go to the balcony to see the sunsets and sunrises," said Diana.

Diego came closer to the balcony and

accidentally step on Raul's hand,

meanwhile, Raul was still hanging to shout, but he endured the pain.

Diana noticed, and she gently pulled her dad away from the balcony you and said

"Dad, you should be in bed. It's late, and I love you goodnight."

then Raul can't hang much longer. He jumps and lands on the ground,

he touches he his hand, and then a guard comes.

He was monitoring around the garden case if there was an intruder, the guard saw Raul and shouted, "Hey, you come here." Raul was afraid, he stood up and ran,

"Hey, come back here this instant," said the guard.

Diego heard all the noise and said
" What's all the noises down there?"

he wanted to go to the balcony to see, but Diana pulled him to the door and said

" it was just a cat from... the roof, you should go in bed and good night. "

Diana then closed the door "okay good night. I love you," said her father

and he left.

Diana was worried she ran to the balcony and noticed Raul was gone. "I hope he's okay," said Diana.
