Chapter 17

At Amanda's dorm.

Amanda was at the balcony, watching the people doing their everyday life,

she watches them with a smile on her face,

meanwhile, Maero was sitting on the sofa, busying eating, an afternoon snack.

Then someone knocked on the door, Mearo heard it and went to the door,

Maero opened the door, and her eyes widened of suprise,

"Amanda," she called loudly, Amanda turned around and smiled brightly when she saw her friend.
Her friend sat facing Amanda, Maero went to them and brought them tea,

"I will get some biscuits," said Maero and went back to the kitchen,

"I was thankful being welcome here," said her friend gratefully,

"Don't mind, that, it's been years you didn't showed up,William," said Amanda.

William Zyne Faylo was her childhood friend, the son of the late mayor of Villarane, and Amanda didn't know that he had been developing feelings for her,

"I missed you both a lot since I went to Alcai to pursue my dream, and now I'm a successful man in Alcai," said William,

Maero came back with biscuits and put the tray to the table, and she sat down besides Amanda,

"That's great news, and by the way, William... why did you suddenly visit?" asked Maero,

Amanda looked at Maero and pinched her, Maero flinched because of the pain.

William giggled, and he put down the tea,

"it's okay, I know it is a suprise for me to visit suddenly. I came here because I have been arranged to someone that lived in Larrane," replied William,

Maero coughed by her tea, by the surpise news, she heard, even Amanda doesn't know how to react,
"Auuuhh... what a suprise news...." suprise said Amanda,

"I know," aggreed said William,

Amanda put her tea and smiled brightly at him,

"Who is this lucky girl?" asked Amanda out of curiousity,

At Diana's mansion.

Diana was in her room, behavely sitting facing the mirror as the maid was doing her hair,

the maid looked at Diana by the mirror and saw her reflection being gloomy than before,

A face full of sadness and despair was expressed in her face. Without saying it, you can know that by reading her face,

"Madam, you're done," said the maid,

Diana was taking the stairs and saw them sitting happily on the sofa,

Diego noticed her, "Here's my daughter, Diana Rodrigoes," he gladly introduced.

Diana went to them and sat on the sofa, facing the man to arrange marriage,

"William, this is Diana, my only daughter," introduced Diego,

he drank the wine, he seemed to be drunk, and his friend or William's father was also drunk,
"Nice to meet you, I'm William Zyne Faylo." said William,

Diana nodded of agreement, Diana didn't make eye contact, to her father nor to everyone that was present,

William took a wine and looked at her, "seems being in a gloomy day that needs a sunshine to be shone," thought William in mind and drank the wine,

William was captivated by Diana's beauty but didn't steal his heart because he knew Amanda was his world and the one that stole his heart.

It was midnight, a middle of the night that filled with light with despaire mixed,

Everyone went home, Diego had already fallen asleep since he was drunk,

Diana was in her room, laying on the floor, while putting her back to the end of the bed, and sticks her kness closely together,

she bends her head and rests on her knees for being sad and desperate to seek freedom in reality and love,

then she heard a bird chirpping. She looked at the balcony and stood up,

and went to the balcony with a heart filled with happiness,

It was Auline, the bird of Raul. She looked down, and it her expectations were real all along.

Raul smiled at her, under the light of the moon, and Diana smiled brightly upon seeing him,

Along the road, the horse gallop under the full moon,

Diana sat front of Raul and rode somewhere, to a place, on where they're alone and loved each other freely,

They were at the river, sitting beside each other, and watched the lake filled with little insects dancing with their little light along the moon.

Raul looked at Diana, and he held her chin, he move her chin to face her,

Diana looked at him with longing in the eyes, and a trillion of love trapped in her heart for Raul,
Raul then touches her cheek. When he noticed, she had bruises,

"Who made you do this?" asked Raul, worried for her,

Diana grabbed his hand and smiled, "it's nothing," replied Diana.

Raul pout a little, "it maybe nothing for you, but to me is not, seeing you like this makes me feel more in pain, " said Raul,

Diana smiled by him being worried. She then looked at the lake,

"I wished, we can be like the fireflys and the moon, dancing in freedom, there's light in us, and a love that we don't need to trap any longer," said Diana,

Raul looked at her, he tilted slightly and lookes away to find another idea to make her in a merry mode.

Raul remembered his brought flute, he took it out, and he played it so beautifully,

Diana was admired, each rhyme, her soul felt in peace, and the song made her heart in happiness.

Diana's ears were focusing on Raul's beautiful song while watching the river,

Raul stopped from playing the flute, he looked at Diana with a smile, he then took something,

Diana noticed. He wasn't palying anymore. She looked at him, then Raul gave a red rose,

"For you my love, a red rose that symbolises my true love for you," said Raul,

"you need to be careful, it's has thorns" worried said Diana,

"For you, I will hold the pain in my hands, even my hand bleeds because of it, it's okay for your love is the worth of the price," expained Raul,

Diana fluttered by his words, "Now you bluffing me with fluttering words," said Diana,

she took it with a smile, and she lookes away, Raul bend his head to smile slightly seeing her smile.

He stood up, Diana looked at Raul and then Raul extend his hand to offered to put Diana's hand,

Diana looked suprise, but she didn't hesistate to agreed to his offer, Raul pulled her to stand up,

Diana let her body follows to Raul touch. They gazed at each other's eyes, Raul smiled and he wrap his arms to Diana's waist and he slowly pulled her closer.

Diana raised an eyebrow,"No, I'm not, on what I'm saying, it's all true, why would I bluff you?" said Raul,

Diana began to took her attention to the rose, then Raul grabbed the rose and he put it behide her ear,

"If I try to talk to you, focus on me" said Raul seems felt a hint of jeolousy,

Diana lookes away, trying to hid the wave of blushing, "don't hide the rosy cheeks on me, it's suits you, my love," tease Raul.

Raul touched her cheek, and he made her looked at him, then Raul touched his cheeks,

he leaned closer, "there's no other things in this world that I love the most, than how much I adore you," he said,

he again lean closer, and he suddenly, kissed her....on the lips,

A night full of light and mixed with love.
