Chapter 19

An afternoon before the wedding, Raul was taking the stairs, then his mother saw him,

"Raul," she called, Raul stopped by the door, he turned around,

"Are you going to pick a suit for your big day tomorrow?" asked his mother,

"Nope, mother, I would rather pick my suit for my death than my wedding," replied Raul.

His mother got angry, "Raul.....don't say some words like that," said his mother, warning him,

Raul ignored it and turned his back to his mother, "I will be at my Ranchó, I have a busy schedule, I also apologised, mother," said Raul and left the mansion,

A night that filled with darkness and sorrows, the stars may twinkle above but still don't shine brightly as the sun in the morning,

at the Ranchó Vegas.

Raul was inside the barn, sitting with emptiness and longing for Diana, then his mate Lando went to him,

"Raul, why so in despair?" asked Lando, "it's nothing, Lando, it's just that....."

"You're yearning for Diana?" said Lando,

Raul bent his head and started to tear up, "she died in my arms, and how can't I be not yearning for her, she is everything to me, she completes me whole," replied Raul.

When Lando felt sorry for him, "Ummm... by the way, Raul, we we're leaving tomorrow,"

Raul looked at Lando, "Don't look at me with those crying eyes. You make me cry," said Lando,

Raul smiled a little and bent his head,

"Maybe out of town could make you move on," recommend Lando,

"I don't know, I can't forget her, I can't even picture her out of my mind," said Raul.

Lando patted his shoulder, "Don't worry, I'll be here, I will support you," said Lando and left.

A morning and the day of Amanda's and Raul's wedding,

Raul went downstairs with suitcases in his hands,

his father spoted him, and stood up, "Raul, where are you going.. you have a wedding to attend," reminding him,

Raul stopped and put down the suitcases. He turned around,

"I don't want to marry Amanda, I don't want her to be hurt by my actions as I don't, have affection to her, my heart and mind chooses someone else and it is not Amanda," replied Raul,

his father sat down and Raul took the suitcases, his father watches him leaving the mansion, with eyes of sadness and guilt-ridden.

He rode the carriage with Lando, and they left,

the carriage stopped by the cementery, and Raul goes to the grave of Diana.

He touches Diana's grave, with engraving love for her, but because of the past, they love forcely cut into trillions of pieces,

he then put a bouquet of red roses in her grave. He touches her grave and thinks in his mind,

"I'm sorry for failing our love, and I didn't even protect you from that day. You'll be my first and last love, Diana Rodrigoes Vegas,"

They're arrive at the Larrane station, Lando, get on the train.

Raul stopped for a while and looked at the city. This is maybe the last sight of the city and the last memory, he could recall.

"Raul, let's go. The train will be going." Raul then came inside, and the train left,

The wedding was cancelled as ordered of both of the families,

At the river, where the water flows without a boundary,

Amanda and William were there, standing 1 meter apart from each other,

"The wedding was cancel and also yours, could you love again?" directly asked William.

"I don't know, I gave everything to Raul, I don't know if I would love again," replied Amanda,

"It's fine, I William Zyne, confessed that I love you, I will be the light to your world of darkness, I will wait for you, even years or centuries." Confessed William while looking at Amanda,

Amanda looked at him. They gazed at each other's eyes.
