Chapter 13

It was afternoon. Diana entered her room,
she then goes to her bed to sit, then she looks at the balcony,

she saw a bird on her balcony holding a letter on his beak,

she came closer to the bird, and it was Auline Raul's bird.

Diana took the letter on her beak, and the bird flew away

she opened it and said

" Meet outside your mansion, love Raul." she smiled, and she fastly changed

She ran downstairs, then the maid noticed her in a hurry and said, "Where are you going?,

Diana stopped by the door and replied, "Going with Maria today,"

"Okay, madam, have fun!" said the maid. Diana smiled and left the mansion.

she arrived at the gate and found Raul holding Rino's rope. Diana smiled and ran to hug Raul and Raul hug back

"Let's go," said Raul,he hold her hand and climbed his horse, and they're off.

They were at the field, where they practice. They sat down

Diana put her head to Raul and

Raul held Diana hand , and Raul had an idea. He stood up

what are you doing?" said Diana, confused

Raul goes to a tree and brings out the pocket knife, and he starts to do something on the tree

"carving something.......okay," said Raul

Diana goes to him, and Raul shows his creation to her

"R❤️D." Is that our initials?" said Diana

"Yeah, and also I have a gift for you.... I was going to your mansion. I came to a store and saw a beautiful necklace so...thought It's cute, so I brought it, "said Raul,

then Raul put the necklace on Diana's neck. Diana touched it and smiled

" So, beautiful, I have R for Raul, so you have D for Diana, right?" said Diana,

then Raul shows her the necklace he wears,

Diana smiled and hugged Raul, "I love you," said Raul

"I love you from the moon and back," replied Diana.

At Diana's mansion,

her Father came home the maid came to him and grab his suitcase "Where's Diana? asked Diego,

the maid gulped of fear she was going to Maria.... she said, " replied the maid "okay prepare me tea and maybe toast, " said Diego,

"Yes.... sir, " and the maid went to the kitchen.

Diego was going to his room, and he stopped at Diana's door.

He decided to go inside, he found only emptiness in her room but he discovered a brown envelope on Diana's bed.

He came closer to the bed, he was about to grab the letter but the maid called her

"Sir, the tea and toast is ready,"

Diego turned around and replied, "I will be there." he looked at the letter with curiosity and left the room.

hours have passed past Diana wasn't home.

Diego got worried about her. "It's already past 5:00. Where is she?" said Diego,

he stood up and went to the phone, he dials Maria's number

Maria answered the phone "Hello who's this?" asked Maria

"I'm the father of Diana, ummm... Is she in your house? If she does, please tell her to get home, " said Diego

" Sorry to say, uncle, but..... Diana isn't here, and Im out of the city right now. I will back next year, " replied Maria

" Okay, thanks, and enjoy your trip," said Diego

and they both hang,

Diego got mad, and he decided to go to Diana's room,

he entered and grabbed the letter.

He read it and was surprise. He was confused

so he went to the table and called the maid that he said to take on charge of keeping an eye to her,

the maid came to him, she was too naive, she was curious about why he had called her.

Diego then threw the letter on the table and said, "Tell me, did you really keep an eye on her?.

"Yes, sir, I did," replied the maid while touching her hands because of nervousness.

"Then, why is there a letter on Diana's bed and bottom? It's say Love Raul," said Diego

"I'm sorry, sir, but I lied to you, Diana and Raul are secretly dating," replied the maid.

"Since when?" asked Diego "its been 2 months,sir, " replied the maid

Diego punch the table because of anger "its been 2 months, and you both lied to me," said Diego.

" I'm sorry if I got home late," said Diana,

Diego was sitting by the sofa, Diana was going to her room when she stopped

Diego stood up and called her. He came closer to her, and he grabbed her arm

"Where did you go?" Angrily asked Diego

"Dad, you're hurting me!" said Diana in pain

"Answer me!" said Diego

"I was in Maria's," replied Diana

then Diego saw a necklace on her heck, he grab on Diana's neck and said, " You lied to me for 2 months," said Diego,

he push Diana to the floor "Maria was out of the city and this who gave it to you, is that boy again, how much I need to tell you to stay away from Vegas, you don't know that they killed your mother" angrily said Diego,

he throw the necklace on the floor, Diana got furious and she stood up and faced her father "dad, why can't you understand that I love him and he didn't asked his father to killed my mom"

Diego then slapped her, "You're ruthless," said Diana.

he grabbed Diana's arm, and they went to Diana's room,

he pushed Diana to the floor and said while pointing at her, "IF You know how to obey my orders, you'll never be like this," and he locked her room.

Hours have passed

the maid came to Diana's room carrying her dinner,

Diana was sitting on her bed crying the maid put the tray on her table,

she came to her and said, "Madam, your necklace, let me put on your neck."

she then put it on her neck. Diana teared up,

"Leave me alone" angrily said  Diana,

the maid grabbed a wet towel, and she applied to Diana's face that was filled with bruises,

"Just leave me alone," shouted angrily Diana,

the maid startled by her sudden shouting, she has no choice but to follow her orders,

she stood up and left the room.
