Chapter 15

The dinner was served, Raul came in, and his father called him to join dinner,

Raul came to them and sat down

"Son, how about spending more time with Amanda so you both can know each other, said his father

"I'm busy lately. Maybe I have no time meeting her, " replied Raul,

"You should have too, so you both know each other more," said his father.

"ohhh, 4 days left, you both will be officially married, I'm excited about that," said his mother with a smile,

Raul was surprised and accidentally dropped the spoon to his plate

"What? It seems too early," complained Raul.

"we don't need to waste time, the early the better," said his father,

Raul was filled with anger in his chest, he wipe his face and stood up,

"I felt like, I'm loosing an appetite for tonight, I would be at my room," said Raul and left the table.

At Diana's mansion, a fine morning with little despair filled the room,

Diana was sitting on her bed, looking at the balcony, gazing the blue skies with teary eyes,

then she heard someone enter and immediately wipe her tears and pretend like nothing happened.

"Madam, your breakfast and medicine..." said the maid while looking at her, feeling pity towards her,

Diana looked at her, "You can, put it above the shelf, I will eat it later," said Diana, then she looked away,

the maid followed her command and immediately put it above a cabinet,

she took the towel, and she then wet it to a bowl of water.

She went to her and stood beside her, and she then applied the wet towel to her face that was full of bruises,

Diana grabbed her hand and looked at her coldly,

"You're doing this, out of pity, isn't it?" said Diana,

"No, Madam, I was worried about your health. You've been feeling weak, your body is slender compared before, and you need to be taken care of. Let me take care of you, so you will be in a good shape," replied the maid,

Diana let her hand go, and the maid then immediately went to the cabinet to take her the medicines,

"Madam, here are some medicines you need to drink before and after eating," explained the maid,

she then directly gave the medicines to the hand of Diana.

But Diana purposely dropped the bottle of medicines to the fall,

all the medicines scattered all over the floor, the maid rapily took all the medicines, and gradually put it back to the bottle.

"After you finished that, you must leave the room, I want to be alone," ordered Diana,

she stood up and went to the balcony, the maid looked at her despairely,

she left the room, as Diana ordered.

An afternoon, filled with dazzling sunshine,

Raul forcely rides a carriage to the river, where Amanda and he will meet up,

Raul looked at the window while touching his necklace that had Diana's initial,

the carriage reached the river, he got off the carriage,
