[Trouble Arising In The Distance]

"What's so surprising?" She says defensively. "Um, nothing..." "Yeah, what she said..." There's an awkward silence between the three of us. She sighs as she walks signaling us to follow, "So um... how are we going to do this with all three of us?" The other me questions curiously. "I'll be staying here since I need to make sure we aren't being followed if I'm going to take control of the body." "And what about us?" I question. "Figure it out... Oh and tell my that little brat to listen or they'll cause trouble." She walks off leaving me and the other me. "Well, since you're the original, you control the body and I'll be on standby." "Wait a minute, Why are you even here?" "Oh um.... maybe and I mean.... MAYBE... our soul split?" I have a poker face on as she says it, making my expression look unnerving. "Um... I'll be going now." She chuckles nervously as she quickly moves away leaving me all alone. I sigh as I focus on myself, feeling the pain from before subsiding slowly. Focusing even more I feel the world flip as I get sent into darkness once more.

When my consciousness returns, I can feel my head lying on someone's lap. I open my eyes to see a lady with similar Purple dragon-like eyes. [Finally awake, Big Sister?] I blink in surprise. As I sit up, strangely not feeling any pain anymore, as it continues to pour down on us. 'Our eyes are similar.... and she said she had family... something about her is familiar though...' "You're the one who attacked me..." [Oh um... about that... Sorry Teehee~] The rain continues to pour down on the both of us, as I now notice my drenched and ripped clothes. "I'll let it go for now... I want you to follow me and be quiet, got it?" I ask passive-aggressively as She nods quickly. I notice the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance and a massive hole in the sky not far above the bridge. 'Wait a minute how does she have clothes?' I turn over to her and now notice the bare amount of coverage. I smack myself mentally as I quickly stop her. "Nevermind... Stay here until I get back got it?" She nods quickly again, 'Why are you so obedient? Is this how it feels to be an older Sibling?' I make my way to the Golden Gate Bridge, while now noticing the destruction there as well. Fire and smoke cover most of the bridge, as I pass through some of the flames I see wounded and dying people helplessly crying for help. I sigh, already knowing what pain I'll have to deal with later, as I slowly grab each one. After a few minutes, I leave the fire on the other side to be met with police and Firefighters they look in shock as I softly plop down 10 people I managed to get out, 4 being children and the other 6 being adults, as they cough a bit from the smoke still in their lungs. A few firefighters quickly help some of them as the rest focus on putting out the fire, while the police also begin to evacuate the survivors I had brought out as I make a quick exit before they can hold any more of my time.

By the time I had made it to the city, it was probably late afternoon because of how darker the clouds got as they continued to pour down. I had also 'borrowed' a wallet from one of the people who died... 'Well they aren't going to use it anymore and I need it more than they do now anyway...' I quickly enter a clothing store drenched as onlookers quietly whisper to themselves as I passby. I feel my Social anxiety quickly getting the better of me, as I feel everyone's gaze on me but push the feeling away as I look for something for me and my 'sister' to wear. Quickly getting what I need I leave without looking back, only to realize it's already dark as it thunders. 'I can feel her on the other side now... hm that's interesting...' Quickly thinking of a way to get over without using the bridge I think of wings. I feel my back itching as I feel something suddenly sprout out from my back with a sickening sound. Not thinking too much about it I feel myself subconsciously lift from the ground as I then break the sound barrier, making me reach my destination quickly.

Taking cover under some trees doesn't help but it at least covers us as we wear the clothes I brought back. An otherworldly hum is heard in the direction of the portal? Gateway? 'Interesting....' I look over at my 'sister', as she glances over at me. "Somethings happening over there..." [I know...] A siren can be heard in the distance as the Void gets bigger as it pulses violently. The bridge seems to be swaying because of how powerful the shockwaves are, we both transform, now heading to the bridge.

Now, with both of us standing below it, I hear an otherworldly scream as something drops down from the Void. Side-stepping to avoid it, its bodily form takes shape, as I get the chills just like in the Forest back in the other world. It stands at its full height, slightly smaller than our monster forms as it lets out a horror-filled screech. Not wasting any time I lung at it quickly biting into its head and ripping it off. 'Good to know my teeth seem sharper...' Its shadowy form disintegrates into the air, I feel the Void pulse more violently as I hear the same otherworldly scream but this time more than 100. [We've accidentally opened something we weren't supposed to...] It pulses more violently as it unleashes more of them, they screech otherworldly once more as they drop onto the bridge, a helicopter is heard in the distance as a light is flashed onto us. [The rats finally made a move...] She says revolted, as I hear more soldiers rushing our way, the other side of the bridge is shot down by a fighter jet making the way only way through to the city. 'Seems like a bad idea since I don't plan on staying here...' I hear a Soldier in the distance yelling, "FIRE", as a rain of bullets flies past us. Thunder strikes violently as it continues raining water, and now lead. The light keeps them at bay as my wings sprout as I take off, my 'sister' following suit, leaving the soldiers to deal with it as we fly into San Francisco.

"BREAKING NEWS: The Unknown and Strange phenomenon that has appeared over the Golden Gate Bridge has suddenly started to move as it seems the Two 'Beings' on the Bridge Fighting earlier were now seen together on the same Bridge. We still have no news on our strange and beautiful savior who was sited on the bridge saving civilians later that day other than a bit of-" The TV is turned off as the man lies down with a sigh, "At least I won't have to go to work..." He looks out his window and looks in the direction of the Golden Gate Bridge, now noticing the bullets seemingly flying about from the bridge, while a helicopter circles around shining a light on something he can't see. "What the Fu-" He's cut off by a big explosion on the other side of the bridge, now cutting it off from bay as the gunfire seems to continue without showing any signs of stopping as more explosions go off on the bridge while the man watches in horror and awe. The TV then beeps as an emergency alert is shown, and an automated voice reads it out, "EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM
EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY
THIS IS NOT A TEST"

'Well, we'll let them deal with that...' Flying to the top of Salesforce Tower, now looking down at the city below as my 'sister' lands beside me with a big thud, making the building shake as I look over at her. [What?] {Why didn't you tell me?'} I question curiously, she turns away without answering. I'm about to ask again as the Void ripples violently, and the buildings start to shake as a bunch of cars and objects not connected to the ground slowly start to rise into the sky, as it ripples even more violently, everything in the air starts to go towards the Void. I hear sirens start but are slowly overshadowed by the sound of the wind, I feel the small tugging sensation as the rain that was pouring down on us stops, now floating, while slowly moving in the direction of the Void. I feel the building tilt slightly, as I see everything near the Void get sucked in, the city gets a blackout. I unfurl my wings and take off with ease, as my 'sister' follows soon after.

By the time the sun rises, more than half the city is gone, looking like a post-apocalyptic city. Some clouds still hang overhead but noticeably cleared up for the next few hours, as I already see more clouds coming in the distance. Ignoring that I walk around the now destroyed city, the once thriving city now desolate. I hear something to my right, as I glance over to see a family. All of them were badly injured but still alive, "H-help us..." One of them begs for help as they stumble over to me. I ignore them as I continue on, as I then stop and side glance the 'people'. Their eyes are now sunken and they have a large inhuman smile with sharp teeth. I sigh as I turn to them, 'It didn't have to end like this...' My clawed hands make quick work of them. "H-help!" Another voice pleads for help as I look over to see a man running towards me. 'He seems fine...' I walk over with my hands behind my back as he runs my way, I now notice the 'people' in the distance with a similar appearance to the once 'family' I had killed merely moments before.
