Just as I finally start to feel and see, my eyes open to me flying through the air. 'That forest looks familiar...' My body starts to free-fall now as I pass the forest and into a Desert. A loud boom is heard as sand is thrown into the air by my "crash landing" as I slowly rise to my feet to see the vast desert. As I finally start to regain my bearings, a deafening explosion erupts from deep within the forest. The sound reverberates through the air, and before I can fully comprehend what's happening, a powerful shockwave crashes into me, sending grains of sand spiraling away from the blast. The heat from the explosion washes over me, and the once peaceful surroundings are suddenly covered in a huge sandstorm. I instinctively dig my feet into the sand as I sense something approaching at an incredible speed. A blue light is seen through the sandstorm as I then feel something crash into me, sending me flying once again. As I tumble across the hot sand, I see IT again. 'Why is this thing back... What a pain in the-' Before I could finish that thought I saw IT rushing towards me. Digging my claws into the sand to slow down, my dorsal plates begin to glow. My body now partially glowing dark red, I fire my cosmic beam at IT.

I didn't land too far from these human pests. 'Ugh! I can't believe She tolerates these pests... but I guess it's fine since it's her. After all, she's been nice so far.' "Everyone of you Humans... gather around..." I yell firmly. "?"  "Who the hell is that?"  "I think she's related to Anastasia..." Instead of listening, they all seem to talk to each other rather than gather around her. She closes her eyes as she sighs aggressively, 'It's alright... no need to get angry over such disgusting pests...' She sighs softly. "I said to gather around... now," she says a little more threateningly. They slowly gather around, but some still keep their distance. "You might be scared or whatever but... I promised my sister that you guys wouldn't get harmed so... if you don't stick close to me, try your best to survive on your own." 'Oook... hopefully my sister is proud with that!' My heart beats faster at the thought of being praised by her. An explosion rings out behind me, the surrounding trees sway violently as the shockwave passes us.

"Dad ... the electricity went out again." The older man looks over with a sigh. "I checked... everything should be fine so stop worrying about that and come help me kiddo." The young girl walks away angrily as she pulls out her phone once more in the hope that it might work. "Let her be Frank. They like to spend time on their phones, so now that most of the technology isn't working, they don't have anything to do." "They could come and help their old man get this Jeep up and running again." She sighs, as Frank makes one of their sons (Tom) help with the car. "I'll be going inside. Do you boys need anything before I go back?" Frank looks at her with a smile. "Could you get us both an ice-cold soda? And before you say anything, it doesn't matter what kind of soda it is." She smiles and heads back inside, as Frank and Tom now work on the last part of the Jeep. She walks into the kitchen to see her daughter playing with the baby. 'Hopefully, we stay like this even when all the technology goes online.' Opening the fridge she looks for two sodas, finding a Coke and Sprite, she rushes back outside. "Which soda do you boys need? A Coke or..." The bodies of both Frank and Tom are being eaten by what looks like a human. It stops, as its head slowly looks over. Its black eyes are the most noticeable feature other than its now blood-stained mouth. Sharp rows of teeth like a shark now bloodied as it slowly rises her survival instincts kick in as she bolts back into the house. It lets out an unsettling sound, and as its footsteps are audible she quickly opens the door and shuts it behind her with a slam as she locks it she runs into the kitchen. "Mom? What's wrong? Why do you look pale and sweaty?" She quickly unbuckles the baby from the baby chair and grabs Scarlett's hand. "I-I can't explain right now all I need you to do is listen... Your father and brother fixed the car and... are just taking a walk yeah... and there is a stranger who was dragging bodies over here so I want you to close your eyes until I say so!" She says urgently as a loud bang is heard on the front door. "We are leaving... now!" She pulls Scarlett without her being able to say or do anything as they go out back they hear a window shatter. "OK... listen carefully... I need you to run with your eyes closed." She whispers as Scarlett looks at her confused and scared. "Mom, if this is some sort of prank it's not very funny... and how do you expect me to run without my eyes open?" Scarlett whispers worriedly. Scarlett doesn't get an answer as her mom runs while holding her hand while also carefully holding the baby. She puts the baby in the baby seat as she then gets into the front seat, another one of those things is right in front of her door. "MOM!"
