-Eli-

Honestly, the whole checking your invites thing scared me. I didn't know how Elliot got her hands on an invite and watching people get kicked out was kind of scary. I was surprised how ruthless the Jenkins' were, Lexi and Levi seemed so sweet and nice earlier. Of course it probably was all fake.

Elliot and I mingled with some people and danced a bit in one of the other living rooms. They have three separate living rooms, can you believe it! The entry room was the one place you could go to escape the noise and people, off to the right of the entry room was one of the living areas that was being used for party games and such. If you went out of the entry room and took a left down the hall before reaching the main living room then you'd end up in the room Elliot and I were dancing in. The main living room of course was just ahead of the entry room. Everything was huge, the rooms were bigger than any I'd ever seen and everything looked so expensive. I felt bad even sitting on their couch, I'm sure they went and locked up all the items of real value though.

"I'm gonna go chill with some of my girls," Elliot laughed, "don't do anything stupid!"

"Sure thing boss," I chuckled as I left her and made my way to the main living room.

I stood at the breakfast bar awkwardly for a moment. I didn't know anyone here, and if I did they were unrecognizable. I thought about taking a few shots, but then I remembered that I was driving tonight. But then Miranda came swooping in to save the day.

"Eli right?" she said as she leaned against the counter facing me.

"You must be the famous Miranda," I chuckled.

"Or infamous depending who you ask," she giggled. What could Elle not like about her? She seems so sweet and nice, "want a drink?"

"I'd love to but I'm the driver for tonight," I said with a small shake of my head.

"Smart man, I'm just having one. People love to drug these things and I mine as well get to it before the creeps do," Miranda laughed as she poured a drink.

"Smart idea."

"I'm chillin with Lexi and Levi in one of the sitting rooms down the hall, you totally should come sit for a while," Miranda said sweetly as she took a sip of her drink.

"Oh I don't want to intrude," I said shyly, "besides my date might miss me."

"Trust me, if she wants you she'll find you. Us girls have these built in tracking devices that instantly tells us the location of our boyfriends," Miranda said as she took my arm and started pulling me down the hall, "this way sweetheart."

We took a left out of the main living room, Elliot was down the opposite hall with her friends. It wouldn't be too bad if I sat with Miranda and her crew for a bit would it? Miranda and I stood outside a room for a minute or two while some people cleared out of the hall into other rooms. When the coast was clear we slipped into what looked like a little reading room, well little was an understatement. Even this room was big for a reading room, it had two nice arm chairs, a decent sized couch, and a coffee table. Not to mention the bookshelves in the back of the room.

"Lexi, Levi," Miranda said with a smile, "I'd like you to meet Eli."

"Oh yes, we know him," Levi replied with a smirk. That smirk made my heart race.

"Oh Miranda, always bringing strangers to our little hideout," Lexi giggled.

"I know, I know. He's chill I promise," Miranda replied as she took a seat on the couch, "where'd Grayson get off to?"

"I asked him to go get us some sodas from the garage," Lexi said as I took a seat next to Miranda.

"So, Eli," Levi said as he turned to me, "tell us about yourself."
