-Grayson-
Monday reared its ugly head again. The magic of the weekend faded into fear of Elliot and her plans for us today, or at least for me it did. All we have to do was make it through this week then it'd be Spring Break, which meant the Jenkins' party.
I climbed down my ladder and picked my phone off of my desk. Eli had sent me a text.
Eli: good morning squeaks! I'll see you soon. Have a good day <3.
God he's so cute. I dug around in my closet for something to wear, the weather man said we were going to be experiencing a heat wave for the next couple days. That meant bright colors and shorts, I grabbed some silver colored basket ball shorts and a white tank top. For once I wasn't the one driving everyone to school, Lexi and Levi were getting a ride with Rex, Miranda was going to pick up Jamie on her way, and Eli was coming to get me.
I was sitting on the living room couch when my mom came down.
"You're up extra early," she laughed quietly. "Eli's coming to get me," I signed to her.
"Well, I'd like to talk to him first," my mom giggled, "has he ask you out or anything yet?" "We want to go on a date," I signed.
"And have you, done anything?" my mom said with a little smirk.
"Mom!" I signed as my face turned from silver to red.
"What! I have a right to know as your mother," my mom laughed as she grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.
There was a quiet knock at the door and my mom sprang up to go answer it, I didn't even bother trying to get there before her. If Eli can survive my mom he can survive anything.
-Eli-
Natalie answered the door and I could see Grayson sitting on the couch inside.
"Hi, Ms. Callihan," I said sheepishly.
"Well good morning Eli," she smiled, "and please, it's Natalie."
"Oh, right," I laughed nervously. I think I know why she answered instead of Grayson.
"I'm not going to sugar coat it," Natalie laughed, "I think you're a cute guy, just take care of my son."
"I promise," I replied with a bit of blush on my face.
"Now get your ass in here, I have coffee," Ms. Callihan laughed as she made way for me.
I followed her into the house and stood awkwardly by the front door. I wasn't sure if we were leaving now or if we had time, I just kinda showed up at school three minutes before the tardy bell.
"Please, have a seat, you guys have at least an hour before you have to leave," Natalie said as she messed around with some pans and such in the kitchen.
A younger girl came down the hall, she looked to be about thirteen, maybe fourteen.
"Who's this?" she said with a disgusted look on her face.
"Lizz, be nice," Natalie snapped from the kitchen.
"I am being nice!" Lizz yelled back, I'm assuming this was Grayson's little sister.
I kicked off my sneakers and joined Grayson on the couch. We had the same sort of style idea going on, I was wearing black athletic pants and a tight, grey tank top. Grayson loved it when I showed off my muscles, at least I think he does. It's kind of hard to figure out what he likes and dislikes when he can't really talk to you.
"Do you guys want anything to eat? I have some coffee brewing, or I can make some tea," Natalie asked from the kitchen as she threw some pans onto the stove, "sit down Lizz, I'll have your food ready soon."
Grayson moved his fingers around like lighting and his mom smiled.
"I'll take some coffee," I replied with a smile.
I wrapped my arm around Grayson as we sat on the couch, we drank our coffee and watched TV. The time finally came and we climbed into my car, off to that hell hole we call school.
We pulled up into my parking spot and made our way into the school. Miranda and the rest of the crew was already there waiting for us. "It's about time," Levi laughed.
"We aren't that late," I chuckled. "Let's go, and ignore Elliot if you see her," Miranda said as she led the way to the commons.
We were all dressed pretty much the same, Lexi was wearing leggings and sports bra and a tank top, Miranda matched her, Jamie and Levi both wore basket ball shorts and T-shirts. You've got to love heat waves. We walked through the commons together, I'm hoping that stunt Rex pulled last week doesn't come to bite us in the ass today. I intertwined my fingers with Grayson's as we walked in, Elliot had already exposed me so I have nothing to hide.
We got our usual looks of envy, along with some new ones too. People had seen Lexi and Miranda's posts yesterday of us hanging out together, people seemed to be happy for us. Happy that we were still enjoying ourselves even after all of the beatings we've taken, I wonder when the principal will finally step in? Elliot had us in her crosshairs, her and her crew started making their way towards us. Miranda and Lexi gave each other a look and smiled a bit as we kept walking.
"Well, look who keeps showing up," Elliot giggled as her little army behind her stopped walking, "have fun blowing each other at the Matthew's?"
"Listen Elliot," Miranda said calmly, "it's Monday, we're all tired. Is this really necessary?"
"Shut up, slut," Elliot snapped at her. "Says the one who wore lingerie to the Matthew's," I chuckled.
"Faggot," Bel growled at me. I smiled at that. "You're right, I am a faggot," I said as I grabbed Grayson and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
I could hear everyone in the commons suck in a breath, but I didn't care. Maybe this is what we needed to do the whole time, just accept we are what Elliot says about us. Grayson and I just looked into each other's eyes as Elliot continued on.
"Whatever, so did you two sleep with each other at all?" Elliot snapped as she turned to Lexi and Levi.
"I didn't sleep with my sister, but I totally blew your ex at the Matthew's," Levi replied with a laugh, "Aaron is actually a decent size."
"You guys are just a bunch of sluts," Elliot snarled as she rolled her eyes, "you fucking whores."
"You're right, Elliot," Miranda laughed softly, "I am a slut. If you're definition of a slut is someone who's nice to everyone and has friends and money, then yes, I am."
Levi helped Lexi up onto a table and she screamed out into the crowd watching us.
"All of you are invited to Spring Break at the Jenkins'!" she shouted, "well, everyone but Elliot and her little gang here!"
"If you try to sneak in or show up, you will be found and you will be kicked out," Levi said with a smile to her, "and trust us, we will catch you."
Miranda just stared back at Elliot in satisfaction. Everyone was cheering for Lexi and Miranda, and I could feel everyone's excitement for the party next week. This is why Lexi wanted more people to be at the party, so she could publically invite the entire school except Elliot and her little cult. It was beautiful and amazing.
"I'm taking my school back," Miranda said happily as she stared down Elliot, "also, we have a meeting with the principal this afternoon. See you then love!"
With that, we all followed Miranda through the commons and to our classes.
I had a feeling that today was going to be amazing.
