Dev and amukta sat down on the mat in vishwambara sharma's pooja room. Vishwambara sharma is searching for something in the huge racks which are filled with many holy books and scriptures. 

Vishwambara Sharma : This is the map. The map for finding it.

Dev : what sir ? 

Vishwambara Sharma : you have to follow this map and reach the caves in which a ruby was hidden. Bring it back and place it in the temple. You should also perform a pooja near the shivlingh which is there in the cave. 

Dev : hmm

Vishwambara Sharma : remember one thing son ! You shouldn't stop or turn back after starting this mission. It will result in unpredictable calamities. 

Dev nodded.

Vishwambara Sharma : I will inform you when auspicious time comes. You will face hurdles but don't stop.

Dev : ok sir ! 

Vishwambara sharma : all the best !

Amukta and dev are engrossed in their own work . It's been a week since they met vishwambara sharma. As usual amukta went home after she is done with her work at the hospital and medical school. She got much more close to nithya and she even became a really good friend to nithya's mother. Dev is also very fond of his newly found little sister nithya. They even took nithya to Hyderabad on sunday. Vihana also grew close to her. Amukta's eyes caught the attention of an old camera. She bought it with her first salary. She took out the SD card of that camera and attached it to card reader. She connected it to her TV. She started watching those old photos which she clicked along with her family and friends . She stopped at a photo which made her nostalgic and she blushed. She clicked dev's photos when he was standing near a waterfall. She wondered how this cute boy turned into a dashing man. She heard the bike sound and she turned the TV off. Dev have no idea about this camera and the photos clicked by using it. She went into the kitchen and started making coffee for him. She heard the footsteps and she saw dev who just came inside. He is talking to someone on phone. Amukta came into the living room and gave the coffee mug to him. He kept it aside and walked out as if he forgot something. She noticed a box on the centre table. She thought of checking it but she didn't because she don't what is there in it.

Dev : ammu ! We should do that tomorrow. We are supposed to go into the forest tomorrow. Please be careful. Don't go anywhere without me. 

Amukta : hmm.

Dev sipped his coffee and made a grossed face.

Amukta : what happened ? 

Dev : you added salt instead of sugar. 

Amukta : what ? 

Amukta took the coffee mug from him and sipped it. It's perfect. She looked at him who is laughing.

Amukta : Idiot ! 

Dev : you are cursing someone who is elder than you. Bad girl ! You don't have any manners.

Amukta : oh really ! First go and change your clothes. You are stinking.

Dev nodded and walked towards their room but he came back and hugged her tightly. She pleaded him to leave but he didn't. He kissed her nape and snuggled into her. She pinched his hands making him to leave her.

Dev : ouch ! It hurts ammu.

Amukta : you deserve it. Go now !

NEXT DAY MORNING ,

Vishwambara sharma performed a pooja and tied sacred threads on dev and amukta's wrists. Amukta and dev started their journey. This is the third time they are going into the forest. They hoped that everything will be fine. As vishwambara sharma told them , they didn't turn back at any instance. They almost reached the cave about which vihswambara sharma told them. 

Dev : can you see that ? 

Amukta : no ! 

Dev : it must be somewhere here. May be just a few mtrs away from us. 

Amukta : hmm.

Amukta walked a little forward she felt like there is a small opening on the huge rock. She called  dev who is checking for it on the other side. He came there.

Dev : that is the cave for which we are searching. I am sure.

Amukta : how come you are this sure ? Did you come here before ? 

Dev : no ! But look at the sculptures. It is the same symbol that is present on this map.

Amukta : yes ! You are right.

Dev : let's go ! We are running late. If it gets dark it will be dangerous.

Amukta : yes !

Amukta and dev reached the cave. It is covered with lot of humus ,dust and spider webs. A strong unpleasant sting touched their nostrils. Dev walked inside and amukta followed him. A huge crowd of bats flew from the cave. Amukta got scared and clutched dev's shirt. 

Dev : ammu ! Open your eyes. They went away.

Amukta opened her eyes and sighed with relief.

Dev : look at that box.

Amukta : hmm.

Dev took out the key from his pocket and walked towards that box. Amukta held his hand and stopped him.

Dev : what happened ? 

Amukta : we have to perform pooja to shivlingh first. 

Dev : yes ! Thanks for stopping me.

They did the pooja first and then dev opened the box. They saw a red coloured sack. He took it out and opened the sack. He found a golden hued gem stone. It is of the size of his fist. 

Dev : we got it ammu. Let's go back. 

Dev kept it in the sack and gave it to amukta. Amukta kept it inside her bag. They walked out and reached the exit of the forest. But they are welcomed by a overwhelming number of people with weapons in their hands. Dev spoke with a voice audible only to amukta.

Dev : run away from here when i tell you ! You should open the temple and make those people free from that curse. You are my wife and my better half. You are part of a royal lineage too.

Amukta : no ! I can't leave you here dev. 

Those people didn't see them yet.

Dev was about say something but multiple SUVs stopped near them . Gautham came out with his men and they stood as a protective sheild for both amukta and dev.

Gautham : please finish the pooja sir ! Make those people free from the curse. We will take care of them.
