Dev and amukta reached the people. Many eyes are awaiting for their arrival. Vishwambara sharma's eyes glistened with happy tears. He never thought that he would visit this temple again in this life time. Vihana and amukta's parents are also waiting for them. Raghava Raju and his extended family also came there to witness the reopening of one of the most ancient temple.

Dev and amukta took bath in the holy river which passes from the village. They changed into new clothes and sat down for performing the yagn ( offering ) . After the completion of the yagn dev walked upto the temple main gate and broke the lock. He walked into the temple along with amukta. Others came behind them. Dev placed the gem in its place and prayed to lord shiva for everyone's wellbeing. Gautham also came there after getting rid of those goons. Vishwambara sharma felt happy by looking at dev. Dev accomplished something that his father tried to do. He was announced as the new protector of the temple. Dev accepted it with great pride.  

Dev : Sir ! are they free from the curse now ? 

Vishwambara Sharma : We will know that once it gets dark. Today is full moon day. Once the moonlight falls on the gem it will illuminate the whole area. If the holy snake wraps around the shivlingh it means that they are out of the curse.

Dev nodded. Amukta was strangely silent. Every single person who resides in that locality came there to witness it. Dev , amukta and others are standing in the front. Gautham and swara are also waiting to witness it. She felt like there is something about which she is not aware. She felt like dev is hiding something from her. But she felt that it won't be appropriate if she confronts her husband in front of many people. Dev looked at her

Dev : I know what you are thinking ammu. I will tell you everything once we go home.

Amukta nodded. Dev smiled and held her hand. Vihana walked upto her parents. Dev lifted her up in his arms. She hugged him and tilted her head on his shoulder as she is feeling drowsy. 

Amukta : she is sleepy dev.

Dev : hmm. 

Amukta : let me know once she is asleep. I will give her to mythri.

Dev : ok ! 

Dev patted his daughter's back lightly as she is sleeping . Soon it got dark. Everyone is awaiting to see the marvel. After some time the sun got low and moon took over the dark sky. The moonlight fell on the gem increasing it's radiance. The whole area got illuminated by serene white light.

Every single spectator joined their hands and prayed to the god. Dev noticed a snake which is crawling towards the shivlingh. Dev smiled with happiness. Amukta also felt happy.

Amukta : you did it dev ! You did it.

Dev : yes ! 

Rajat rang the bell in the temple.

Vihana : nanna ! Congratulations. Tatha's dream came true.

He hugged amukta and vihana.  Saritha and Sagar walked upto them. They hugged dev and congratulated him. They are extremely proud of their son-in-law. The whole crowd saluted to dev. 

Vishwambara Sharma joined his hands and stood infront of dev. Dev held his hands and asked him not to do that.

Dev : Sir ! Why are you doing that ? You are much elder than me.

Vishwambara Sharma : I am extremely happy my son. This was the only wish i had in my life. I will happily die now.

He embraced dev. 

Vinod and Rajat also hugged dev and expressed their happiness. Mythri also expressed her happiness.

Rajat : I never thought that one day i will experience this marvel sir. You made it happen. 

Dev smiled.

Vishwambara Sharma : he is born for a cause. He is not an ordinary human but a noble man. He lifted a curse which is around 200 years old. 

Vinod : can they come here sir ?

Vishwambara sharma : oh yes ! 

Vinod went and brought them. They all walked into the temple with immense joy. After some time everyone departed to their houses except the headmen and few others including dev , amukta and vishwambara Sharma along with their families.

Poornima : conducting a mela ( fair ) and performing special puja will be a good idea. It's been ages since this temple was open. 

Headman : you are right ma'am. As the new protector of the temple DCP sir should give permission for it.

Dev : your wish sir ! 

Headman : ok ! Then let's make the arrangements for that.

They went to their respective homes. Dev and amukta went to raghava raju's place for spending some time with grandma. After having their dinner they came back to their house. Vihana was asleep. Dev made her to sleep on the bed and came into the livingroom. Amukta's parents are also asleep. Amukta came there with 2 cups of herbal tea. She passed a cup to dev and sat beside him. He looked at her with a questioning face because they won't drink herbal tea usually. 

Amukta : I felt like having it because we bathed in the river. My voice changed already.

Dev : prevention is better than cure . Am i right ? 

Amukta clapped her hands dramatically.

Dev : the secret that i kept hidden for few days is the fact that Gautham is the one who is helping us. He is not Ramaswamy's biological son. He is his step-son. Ramaswamy married Gautam's mother for her wealth. He pretended as if he is interested in Kalavathi to know about Ramaswamy's  secrets. He was planning to expose him since many years but now he got a great opportunity. So, he did that.  The goons who came for attacking us are sent by Ramaswamy's close associates.

Amukta : oh !

Dev : I have something else to tell you ! 

Amukta : what's that ? 

Dev : my uncle told me about my father's family. My father have a sister it seems. She lives in Hyderabad. I got her address.

Amukta : really ! You must meet her then.

Dev : yes ! She owns a boutique it seems. She has 2 sons. Both have settled abroad.

Amukta : ok !
