┊CHAPTER THIRTY SIX┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎.

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ "alright, felix! you're next." the teacher smiled. the class knew by now that something had to be going on with hyunjin and felix. considering a few months ago, they hated each other and now all of sudden hyunjin is calling felix all sorts of beautiful.

felix grabbed his drawing and walked shyly up the front. the walk to the front of a class to present was always so stress inducing and embarrassing for some reason— felix could feel his classmates stares on his back.

felix cleared his throat as he asked the teacher to turn on his projector so the class can see his drawing better which of course he obliged.

and the minute felix's drawing was shown on the screen, hyunjin smiled. the only one who understood what it meant.

felix drew two boba cups from his job. but he drew one hand holding a strawberry boba tea (that being his own hand) and another hand holding a strawberry matcha latte (the other hand being hyunjin) with the couple rings on their finger. he added a little water color to bring some color and life to it as well.

"uhm, so, i drew this.." felix pointed at his drawing, feeling extremely awkward.

"the two hands are mine and hyunjins. the first few times we've ever hung out, just the two of us, was at a boba place. it became kinda like tradition for us to meet there."

"as for the drinks, the kind matters because it was brought us together. it was a way for hyunjin to try to get to know me. hyunjin would just show up and order my drink without me having to remind him or ask him and that showed how much he paid attention to me. it showed how important i was to him, i felt seen by him."

hyunjin couldn't hold in his smile as he remembered all the times there at miso's. he still had the cup from the first time he's made the effort to see felix outside school/the dorms. it was important to him and he's glad that felix seems to think so too.

"as for the rings, it's a bit personal," felix looked down and instinctively played with the couple ring on his finger, "but it's something that will constantly remind me of hyunjin and how much we've grown and how much he means to me now. i wear the ring still so he can know that."

hyunjin looked at the ring on his hand too  as he listened to felix,

"basically what i've learned about hyunjin is that he's persistent about things he care about. he can make you feel really special but that's only if you are special to him and there's never a moment where you'll doubt or question that. underneath all that arrogance, he's a hopeless romantic and i like that about him." felix glanced at hyunjin for a split second, looking away when their eyes met, feeling shy after spilling his feelings.

"oh, and finally i used a bit of watercolor because hyunjin likes watercolor.. that's it." felix smiled as the class erupted in applause.

"amazing work, you two! we can really see how much you two have grown and how close you've gotten!" the teacher praised as he sent warm smiles both their way.

felix mumbled a shy thank you as he went to take a seat, feeling a certain someone's eyes on him.

"okay! let's keep going!"

class ended 4 projects later and felix couldn't help but zoom out the class. he wasn't surprised when he saw hyunjin hurriedly pack his things up, in fact, he wanted him to follow him.

felix walked in the dining hall and choose to sit outside in the seating area, waiting for hyunjin to catch up. and when he did, he instantly smiled when he saw a heavy breathing disoriented hyunjin gasping for air.

"hey.." felix trailed off as he took off his book bag.

"hey?! don't 'hey' me, why were you walking so fast? why didn't you let me catch up?" hyunjin wheezed as he sat up, grumpily walking towards felix.

"i knew you'd follow me and eventually catch up." felix shrugged, holding in a laugh seeing hyunjins displeased face as he sat down next to him.

"whatever," hyunjin frowned but instantly smiled as he heard felix's giggle, "i've been texting you."

"i know," felix sighed, "i'm sorry. i was thinking of the right words to say and i thought it would be better if i said it in person.." felix nervously bit his lips.

"oh? say what?" hyunjin asked curiously as he turned his whole body towards felix.

"i've been reflecting.. and the reason why i need to think was because i was scared that if i cheated on yeonjun, that i will..." felix trailed off as he guilt filled his body for even having those thoughts.

"that you'll cheat on me too?" hyunjin questioned softly as he dipped down to catch felix's wondering eyes.

"yeah.. but then i thought about it. i would never cheat on you because there's never going to be a time where you'll make me question how you feel about me and there will never be a time where i'll want anyone else but you..." felix reached forward and lightly grabbed hyunjin's hand.

"there's never a moment where i felt like i didn't have your attention or that you didn't like me and everything i said in class, i meant. you care so beautifully. i won't ruin this relationship, i want it too bad."

hyunjin rubbed his fingers against felix's knuckles, "i just don't like you, felix.."

"what do you mean?" felix tilted his head slightly.

hyunjin took a deep breath as he looked straight into felix's eyes, his heart warming up. how did i get so lucky? hyunjin thought. (A/N: WHO ATE THE LUCK? my bad..)

"i love you.. felix," hyunjin squeezed felix's hand, "i fell in love with you a long time ago."

felix eyes widen as he felt butterflies release from the pit of his stomach. he smiled widely as he launched forward and hugged hyunjin with every ounce of love in him. their hearts thumped loudly against each others chests.

felix was beyond happy. he had a feeling because of hyunjins art project but hearing those words leave his mouth gave him happiness and warmth he never felt before.

hyunjin smiled into felix's shoulder as he sighed contently.

"i think i'm falling in love with you, hyunjin.." felix whispered into hyunjins shoulder as his cheeks were squished from the embrace.

felix's feelings were a little more fresh than hyunjins so he needed more time to be in love with him but he was definitely on his way and hyunjin knew that.

so he pulled away from the embrace to cup felix's face into his hands, leaning in to kiss his lips tenderly, both of them smiling into the kiss.

hyunjin was the first to pull away, "are you finally mine now? can i be with you?" hyunjin asked desperately as he rubbed his thumbs against felix's cheeks.

felix smiled cheekily as a blush rose lightly on his cheeks,

"yes, i'm yours, hyunjin. i've always been yours."

sadly.. this book is coming to end, probably two more chapters :( i've been writing this book for a while now and there's nothing more to write about.
