Decepticon Sparkling

Lunawave is the daughter of Soundwave. She's a free spirited sparkling, who longed to explore life outside the Nemesis. What happens when she gets her wish? Follow her journey through seasons two and three of Transformers Prime.

Lunawave's POV

I'm riding my rocket propelled hover board down the halls of the Nemesis. Having a tun of fun. "Woohoo!" I shout as I hit the accelerator. I turn a corner and see a group of vechicons. "Duck!" I tell them and they do so. "Sorry!" I shout looking back at them.

When I'm grabbed off of my hover board. "Whoa!" I yelp and see Laserbeak grab my hover board turning it off. "Sire" I whine as he puts me down having me face him.

"Question: what have I told you about flying your rocket powered hover board inside?" he asks me using several different voices. I haven't heard his real voice since the day I was created and he named me. My carrier died on Cybertron along with her two mini-cons Rumble and Frenzy.

"Not too" I grumble looking at my pedes. "But how else am I supposed to test it's new thrusters? You won't let me leave the ship" I remind him.

"Statement: it is to dangerous" he tells me.

"You always say that" I mutter. Laserbeak hands me my hover board and returns to Sire's chassis. "Can't I go out with Knockout on one of his drives or to one of the mines?" I ask him hopeful. I hate being stuck inside all the time.

"Statement: will talk to Lord Megatron about it" he tells me. I smile and hug him. My head reaches just below his chassis.

"Thank you Sire" I say with a smile. Looking up at him as he strokes my helm. A smiley face appears on his vaser and I giggle.

"Statement: run along and stay out of trouble. I'll be watching" he tells me. I nod my helm and left walking away. I go to the med-bay.

"Caught again?" Knockout asks me amused.

"My sire is the chief surveillance officer, what do you think?" I ask him as I put the hover board on the table. "Thrusters worked great" I tell him.

"Was there any doubt?" he asks me. "Though I wish you'd let me paint the hover board, it looks so dull" he tells me. Eying it.

"No touching, only I can tinker with my board" I tell him. "While you supply parts" I remind him. "So what are you doing today?" I ask him curious as I hop onto the empty medical berth.

"Nothing much, doing infantry while waiting for a mission from Lord Megatron. Or an injured soldier to come in" he states shrugging.

"Boring" I tell him.

"I know right" he says with a chuckle. "How about I give you a lesson on buffing?" he suggests.

"Would rather have a lesson on bio-mechanics" I tell him.

"Very well" he says heading over to the console. "Lets begin" he states and I smile. Heading over and he starts to teach me about important bio-mechanisms, starting with the T-cog.

(Bridge) Third Persons POV

"I heard Lunawave was on that hover board again" Megatron states. As Soundwave works on the Iacon database decoding it. They had lost the spark extractor to the autobots, and got the Forge of Solus Prime. But personal shield generator Knockout and Breakdown had retrieved was destroyed by Bulkhead.

"Statement: she is bored, wants to explore outside the Nemesis" Soundwave tells him.

"Maybe we could give her a mission" Megatron muses.

"Question: a mission my lord?" Soundwave asks turning to face Megatron.

"I think she is responsible enough for a mission and the autobots don't know about her" Megatron states.

"Statement: Lunawave is still sparkling, still learning" Soundwave states.

"She can hack and make anything. She'd be able to infiltrate the autobot base" Megatron states. "Discover their location, hack into their database and send us a copy of it. The possibilities are endless" he says with a smirk.

"Question: when would she leave?" Soundwave asks Megatron.

"I must brief her on her mission, then we'll set the plan in motion for her to infiltrate the autobot ranks" Megatron tells him. Soundwave nods and goes back to his task while Megatron sent a vechicon to get Lunawave.

(Medbay) Lunawave's POV

"If we have a T-cog from creation, why can't we always transform?" I ask Knockout curious.

"It's sort of like humans form of puberty, but for Cybertronians. When a Cybertronian reaches a certain age, they're t-cog will come on-line and scan their first vehicle mode" he explains. Just then Steve appears.

"Hey Steve, what's up?" I ask him.

"Lord Megatron requests your presence" he tells me. I nod my helm and grab my hover board. I wave goodbye to Knockout and followed Steve to the bridge. Once there I lean on my hover board as Steve left.

"You asked to see me lord Megatron" I say.

"I did" he states turning to face me. "I have a mission for you" he tells me.

"Really!" I exclaim dropping my hover board in shock. It goes off and zooms around the room. Until my sire's tentacles catch it. "Opps, sorry" I say sheepishly bowing my head.

"Perhaps it best the hover board stay in your berth room in future" Megatron tells me.

"Yes my lord" I say bowing to him. Before straightening up. "You were saying something about a mission" I state. Looking up at him with curious blue optics. They match my carriers'.

"Yes, a very important one. Something only you can do" he tells me. I notice only him and sire present everyone else had left. "It's top secret and only the three of us will know about it" he adds. "Are you ready to help the decepticon cause?" he asks me.

"Of course I am" I tell him.

"You'll be infiltrating the enemy base" he tells me.

"What will I do while I'm there Lord Megatron?" I ask him.

"Gather intel; their bases location, the names of the humans helping them, where they keep their energon, and anything else that can help us defeat them" he explains. "It'll take time for you to gain their trust and we won't be able to contact you for a while" he tells me.

"I understand" I tell him. "When do I leave?" I ask curious.

"Now, you'll be going to an energon mind with Knockout. He'll believe you're there to learn about our mining procedures. You can not tell him your mission. It's a small mine and we'll alert the autobots to it's location. They'll attack and you decide how you wish to approach them" he tells me.

I nod my helm in understanding. Just then Knockout appears. "Ready to go?" he asks me. I nod my helm. I go over to my sire. I hug him.

"I'll be-careful and won't leave Knockout's side" I assure him with a smile. He shows me a smile emoji. "Can I take my hover board?" I ask him hopeful. He hands it to me. "Take care of my sire Laserbeak" I tell the mini-con and he coos. I head over to Knockout and sire opens us a ground bridge. We go through it. "Whoa" I say when we enter the energon mine.

"You'll get used to it" Knockout assures me as the portal disappeared. "Anyway, welcome to your first energon mine. It's one of our smaller mining operations, but you'll learn a lot about how we mine, process and package it. While we are here" he tells me.

"I look forward to it" I tell him with a smile. He smiles back. And starts to give me a tour of the mine. Pointing out the different pieces of equipment and explaining how they are used. While the drones continue their work ignoring our presence. I wonder how long until the autobots arrive?
