Kitsune: Transformers Prime

Vixen is a predacon that looks like a kitsune. In fact she inspired the myth of the trickster fox with nine tails. She is quite sneaky and crafty. Always up for some mischief. She was never really accepted by other predacons and she preferred to be alone. One day she decided to go into stasis and set a time for the pod to open. She thought she'd set it for a deca-cycle, so 10 Earth days. But had actually set if for a mega-cycle. So a thousand Earth Years. When she woke it was the late 1900s. The world had changed a lot and she had to adapt. What happens when the autobots find her?

(Autobot base) Third Persons POV

"Optimus, did you find Energon?" Ratchet asks him.

"No. But I did uncover this" Optimus states. Placing the fossil skull of a predacon on the table.

"It cannot be" Ratchet states.

"Be what?" Jack asks.

"The ancient remains of a Predacon" Optimus tells him.

"Though it remains unclear why such a skull would be found on your planet, its presence reveals all too much about the Predacon which Megatron recently sent in pursuit of us" Ratchet states.

"You mean that dragon bot we put on ice?" Miko asks.

"Except that Predacons have been extinct since, well" Ratchet struggles to find the right phase or word.

"Since before most life began on Cybertron" Smokescreen adds.

"They're like Earth's dinosaurs" Raf states.

"Which means, for you guys, running into one would be like us meeting a T-Rex" Jack adds.

"So then what were dinobots?" Miko asks.

"Totally different" Bulkhead tells her.

"With Megatron's seeming new interest in the excavation of prehistoric skeletons and a certain scientist back among the Decepticon ranks" Ratchet says.

"It would stand to reason that Shockwave cloned the beast from one such find" Optimus states.

"And now Megatron's looking to clone another" Ultra Magus adds.

"What makes you think bucket-head would stop at just one?" Wheeljack asks him.

"We could have beast wars on our hands" Bulkhead states.

"And if Shockwave only requires a single strand of CNA from which to clone a beast" Ratchet says.

"He already possesses what he needs to engender this one. Autobots, we must become Beast Hunters" Optimus tells the team. Ratchet goes over to the computer and looks up predacons. Images of them appear on the main screen.

"From our historical texts" Ratchet states.

"But those are metal versions of creatures from our Greek mythology and medieval literature" Jack states.

"Not dinosaurs" Raf adds.

"Wait, that's Kitsune!" Miko shouts pointing to an image. "Raf where's your laptop?" she demands. He points at it and she grabs it looking up the Kitsune sighting website. "Put this on screen" she tells Raf. Who does so.

"Is that a living predacon?" Smokescreen asks.

"Looks like it" Arcee says.

"In Japan" Ratchet says confused.

"How did you know about this Miko?" Bulkhead asks.

"Kitsune, are trickster foxes from traditional Japanese folklore. They are a type of yōkai, a class of supernatural creatures with godlike powers, often equated to the English ghoul or demon" Miko states. "I swear I saw one before I left Japan and this website has photos of Kitsune sightings" she state.
