CHAPTER- 2

.Cliff's Pov.

I was lifting the dumbells when I heard a very annoying voice ,whithout a second guess I know only one person is capable of barging in my devilishly huge , highly secured mansion and that is Skyler"the pain in ass" I mean my best friend .
I heard him saying "HOLY UNIVERSE CLIFF" you're sweating,I replied annoyingly"You can see I'm hitting gym unlike you". He shrugged me off and announced "Your father called me to inform that Mr. Ashbourne's daughter likes a land that's under your name, since you've not been utilising it for years so you can gladly hand it over to her, she'll be meeting us at 11".

"Damn that's not fair ,I liked that land.
Whatever ,I'll meet her and I'll deny politely, She won't mind she's filthy rich she can buy another one "I declared,Skyler asked"what about uncle"I'll manage"I replied.

I went downstairs and saw my breakfast and tea settled on one end of the dining table and Skyler sitting on the chair next to it, well there's a saying that scary people don't drink tea actually that's a myth cause I require atleast two cups a day Well !! I'm not saying I'm scary, Sky says that people around fears me,well technically they should cause I can find out their whole history with certain clicks in my phone ,I'mnt braging I REALlY CAN.
I heard Sky calling one of the cooks and asking for a coffee with extra sugar."Darn it Sky, you'll turn diabetic"I yelled, he frowned and said "thank you for your kind words". Sometimes I wonder why can't he behave like a grown ass man I mean like we're already 27 that age is enough to get matured.

We parked our Aston Martin and went inside our building, on the entrance we met our receptionist passing her brightest smile to us ,Sky hates her to the core ;he makes faces around her and that's fun to watch. Sky asked me what's her problem. "She's tryna prove us that she has a set of 32 teeths" I joked . Sky groaned"I wanna smack and break them all" .He's Sick!!. We settled at our seats checking through emails,just then the phone rang ,it was the receptionist I even don't know her name, she sounded terrified she asked "Sir Miss Ashbourne is here to meet you should I send her??" Why the hell is she asking this, if we've fixed a meeting of course I'll be meeting her, or was she trying to shook her away? Maybe Miss Ashbourne taught her a lesson, Wow!!.

My secretary opened the door,There entered a sassy women with a cool oufit and another women with pick me kinda outfit, let me just say they both looked world apart. I and Skyler introduced us one by one ,I offered my hand which Miss Ashbourne hestiantly shook and introduced herself "VOILA ASHBOURNE" Oh!!God!! The name suits her so well she's angel or what?.
The other women introduced herself, they had some hello hii's with Sky but I heard none,as I was busy noticing her features brown eyes, long brown hairs, aesthetic chain around her neck , diamond ring , neat white shoes and...SNAP IT CLIFF; why am I getting distracted,I have to just deny her for the land that's an easy job.I decided to break the silence and I asked her that why did she need that particular piece of land,she stated that she thinks that place is suitable for her dream caffe, after listening her reason I couldn't say NO, fuck you Cliff "NO" is a two letter word and I lost my ability to say no. Actually I'm not the one to be blamed she was staring into my soul as if she'll burst into tears of I say no. I saw her grinning like a kid when I agreed, her smile is worth the sale of that damn land. I thought she'll thank us and leave but to my surprise she requested me for the installation of security cameras, PLEASE !!girl I want you to leave this place before I force you to stay forever. I'm suddenly battling with unwanted thoughts.

I hate extra women attention,I had a girlfriend back in high school she used to bully people by using my name, she always demanded gifts ,dates and I didn't liked all that shit as I wasn't only famous for my father's money ,I was genuinely good in studies. Since then I haven't dated because every women I met basically pushes herself into me and begs me to have her, but my mother always says they are just behind my money, although Voila is already rich maybe she want to be richer, she's just 23 now, Maybe she might have bigger plans. My mother always told me that you'll feel the true love in your veins, but while looking at Voila I feel like she's someone who would dance in my head. All this shit was running in my head just then I jerked off and pushed my card towards her and gave a arrogant reply "you can contact us ".

She looked stunned ,Yeahh!! Whatever!! my manager will handle her now. I care less about anyone.I won't let her trouble my thoughts.

As they were about to leave Sky asked about her sunglasses,this man has query about everything, he's a toddler or whatt? I heard Sky and the other girl bickering, Voila apologize to Sky and muttered something to her friend in hindi. To my surprise she speaks Hindi well , I have supposed her to be over dramatic , cautious kind . My curiosity got the best of me and I asked her "are you good with hindi" she looked offended and just gave me a reality check that how I'm a pampered filthy rich boy who had studied abroad,Okay now she's using my tone on me that's pretty cute .
She stormed out without a word I muttered a goodbye beautiful ((Arrividerci Bella)) in Italian,she glared me and left, okay she don't like me speaking other languages,then I'd be using them more often .Wait!! No!! Why would I be meeting her more often no I won't. Sky will handle the deal further.
She's igniting something in me that I don't like, I'mnt expecting another money grabber women.I want someone who can love and cherish me and my loved one's ,One who keeps the beast inside me tamed. I highly doubt she'd match any of my demands.

I exited the building telling my manager to cancel all the further meetings today. I need a shower and a long nap that was a long day for us. A very wise man said that women are difficult to deal with,and that man is missing from the universe since then.

Surprisingly didn't catch a sleep,and I was tossing in my bed when my phone buzzed, I checked the caller it was Sky ,"Hello Dude! Can you forward me Voila's phone number" Skyler asked.
Like Hell!! Dont tell me Sky has a liking for Voila. I'm not a sane man ,Sky and I are friends from 27 years and we never fought seriously.NEVER.
I suppressed all these shitty thoughts and asked " No, I don't have but why do you need it?" He said "I actually liked her sunglasses alot I really wanna buy one" This Skyler scared the fuck out of me " Man you can buy several glasses like those, Go to hell and don't call me again " with this I cut the call and threw my phone on the couch.
I forced my eyes shut I need a endless sleep; my mind is a mess today, I'll get up with a fresh one tomorrow. I hope.
