Sky's Pov. (Cliff’s Best friend)

..Hmm..hmm..hmm.. I didn't realized that I am humming until Cliff scolded me "Why are you humming?" And then I realized how happy am I today. I have celebrated last 7 to 8 birthdays in California with Cliff and friends after Sylvia, my sister's death no birth day felt nice even my mum lost interest from celebrations but this time surprisingly two very important women are excited for my birthday, one of them is the woman I love although she's a hellhole ride and another is the lady who's now a sister to me and will be my best friend's wife in future I mean she has a great potentialfor that cause she's the only one who can dance on his wach nerve withoutgetting a bullet on her head, I hope they'll eventually accept that they are meant for each other if Cliff and Via cut their act of nonchalance. But I know they'll need time,  finally I am feeling that the voidness the hollowness in our world is going to be filled.

Things have been a bit cleared apparently last meeting ended without us bickering so we are more than comfortable in meeting the love's of our life, haha! This sounds so nice I'm waiting for the day when we can say this out loud. Cliff is following us to shopping, new thing I know but he'll obviously trail with us cause Via is coming, so we both got ready in our all time professional attire.

We were about to depart when Cliff commented 'Nice outfit bro' I laughed at his choice of words saying "Via is affecting you in severe ways, see how you're calling the normal business suit as 'OUTFIT'. I can see his flushed face, that woman has made my best friend blush that also for the very first time so I should keep it noted.

We reached there before time, obviously we would 'Voila Ashbourne' never comes on time. I had to buy stuff for ny new villa, a birthday outfit That’s what these women calls. Both of the very responsible ladies decided to help me out according to their proficiency.
So Evy helped me out in selecting the party clothes I saw here gaze wandering everywhere as if she's waiting for someone I asked her the same but she brushed it off saying it's nothing I let that slide and then I asked Via to buy chandelier and aesthetic accessories, again that's what they called them, for my new place I feel if there'll be things selected by her the house will become more of a home. Cliff motioned me to ask her to buy few of those for his home too although he already had them but I know he's a petty person of course he wants everything of Via's choice. But he won't admit that he's not even admitting that he likes Via but it becomes quite obvious that she is his constant thought. We were walking floors to floors with them buying every thing they touch 'rich brats' and I’m sure today they're bringing a dent on my limitless black card.

I was busy admiring the cheerful side of Via and Evy laughing there heart out in random unfunny things. Cliff took some glances of Via and then scrolled his phone I asked "in cosa sei assorbito?"((What are you so engrossed in?)) He replied "Preparativi, ricontrollo di nuovo perché non voglio deluderla" ((Preparations, rechecking again cause I don't want to disappoint her)).
I hummed and turned away and then I saw a man suddenly approaching us he waved at Evy and she went to him and side hugged him. Via was so engrossed in looking for stuff but I disturbed her saying "Who's he" she turned to look in the direction and she froze for more than 4 seconds but then she yelled "Anyyy..."
I was takw aback with the choic name "What on the earth name is 'Any' of course he is a boy his name won't be 'Any' but still" what happened next made my eyeballs gauge from the socket. Via went running to him and hugged him tightly as if they're long lost lovers. As Via stood steadily that 'Any' kissed her forehead, and I can feel the fire fuming as I turned to Cliff. Shit I forgot he was seeing this all along.I fear he'll load a bullet on this boy's head. Evy took a step back and said "He's Anthony, Via' s ex" and Cliff looked tenser than ever, last time after we got back from Oregon he tried to dig about her past but he didn't found anything about this boy. As many times this Anthony was hugging or touching Via, Cliff's nerves were bulging and eyebrows were getting scrunched. I coughed a little to make him realize that his hatred was getting obvious. Via introduced us to that boy she said indicating me ''This is 'Skyler Winterson' my very good brother like friend" that made me smile then she indicated Cliff and said "He is 'Cliff Everhart' the owner of Everhart's group and the best part is uncle Everhart agreed to give me his land in California where I want my caffè to be established. This disappointed me she didn't even introduced Cliff as a friend. is he just a business partner to her? what I know is that he has fallen in love with her but now I think it's otherwise from her side. Anthony requested us to join for lunch I wanted to decline but Cliff agreed to it, I can tell he's trying himself and his self restraint I'll hate it if he snaps cause that'll ruin any good side he might have earned in Via's records.
I felt annoyed thinking what does her ex suddenly want?? Or did things not properly went down between them honetly Via don't look like woman who leave things unattended.
I asked Cliff "Vuoi metterti ancora più in imbarazzo davanti a quel gigolò?" ((do you want to embarrass your self even more infront of that gigolo )). He replied "Qual è quella parola giggolo?" ((What's that word gigolo)) I awkwardly smiled saying "Quella parola è stata presa dal dizionario di Voila"((That word is picked from Via's dictionary))
