He chuckled and said "Go and get dressed up I'll drop you" I hummed cause I don't mind being dropped in an hella hot car with a sexy as fuck driver. Before walking back upwards I asked "Aunty Lizzy" my house help to prepare my coffee, I went and came back rushing in 10 minutes that's the shortest time I've ever got ready, I saw an eye hurting seen there, Cliff has rolled up sleeves he looks damn hot! "Okay I'll pour you a tea as a thanks" I chirped He smiled "My god your smile is so sweet... my heart skipped a whole beat" I genuinely told him, he smiled again saying "WHATTT???" I flirtiously said "Don't please, If my heart skips another beat, there will be no playlist left" He grinned "You're such a flirt". I laughed him off. After having our morning mugs we left for my office.
Let me tell you work without Evy is more troublesome so after a hella hard day I realised that I'm without car today cause Mr. Thunderstorm dropped me so I called my driver to bring my car to which he said "Sir said that he'll pick you from office" okay that was quick, I thought of waiting at the parking as I reached at the lowest floor I saw Cliff standing near some other car I'm not good with names but it screams richness, He gently took me in his arms and said "I want you to introduce with someone" I sat quietly he took different turns and routes that made me realise that we're going to his mansion. As we entered inside there jumped a goofy dog I patted his back Cliff looked at me with surprise and asked "Aren't you animal phobic?" then I explained him that I'mnt animal phobic but allergic to animal fur. He asked me to name the dog I named it Winter. I stayed a long at his house I saw the details like his garden, drawing room, achievements room, but I didn't get to his bedroom surprisingly I wonder what his room looks like. He had a urgent online meeting so he asked me to wait till he completes it I wandered around his mansion after that I thought to watch some series on Netflix an hour later I started to feel hungry I made my way to the kitchen before I can think of cooking something Cliff came down and asked me to sit and then he fed me Italian pasta he is such a good cook that he made me doubt my cooking skills, cause I'm an amazing cook atleast that's what Evy told me he showed me his fridge that was now stocked with different chocolates ice creams, cupcakes and what not but he didn't let me touch any, He says I'll catch a worse cold I grabbed a choclate saying" You're such a mommy" He glared me as he would eat me raw, that sounds fun No! No!. He dropped me home and didn't left until I took my medicines under his watch, He's so dominating and yet so gentle that makes me wonder how he would be in bed, No no just forget that I said something so absurd I'm a dumb bitch sometimes. After he left I changed in something more comfortable, I took another coffee I took too many cups today I'm promising that it'd be the last one for tonight. I scrolled through my phone I checked my schedule for the upcoming day Screw it! I have back to back meetings tommorow, I responded to Evy's messages telling her I'm fine and she should rest too. Then I saw some of my random photos I've clicked today and I also managed to capture Cliff. I posted the pasta, coffee, and chocolates and my aesthetics with the caption "A Pink Day" I was completely focused on the novel I was reading when I heard a call, "Mum" I grinned I had a hour long convo with my mother cause I had to tell her about lots of stuff, My mother decided to hung up when she realised I need sleep, then I saw replies on my post people were commenting like tasty, yummy, cutie there were more than forty thousand comments in an hour, than I saw the comments I was waiting for;

I responded a heart to each one of them, Cliff made his account name as per the nickname 'thunderstorm' that I gave him that gives me butterfly, I really wanna enjoy these moments when Cliff is all sweet and soft cause I doubt he'll be back to his mysterious and asshole like behaviour very soon, I know I just have a gut feeling.
A very wise man once wrote that "Womanly instincts are never wrong" and he was right so here we are back to the square, Cliff was so considerate for the first two day and now he's all toxic again he didn't show up for two days he sometimes sent plain texts like "Took your meds??", "Slept well?", "What's up??", "How're you doing princess?" I responded to none of them whatever is keeping him busy should keep him busy forever. I've lost my appetite and I didn't took a single tablet cause I don't want to. Today is the fifth day in Evy's absence and I literally dragged my body to the office It's so disturbing when your mood suddenly starts depending on a single person. Cassie knocked the door I annoyingly said "Are you planning to enter or you're just checking the door's quality" she stuttered because of my sudden outburst saying "Mr. Everhart's Manager called me saying that you're not picking up the calls", "Shitt!! My phone is on the charging" I answered Cassie "Okay I'll see" after she left I saw seven missed calls from Cliff . "That'd be tough" I breathed. I took a long breath saying" Cliff English Please" He mumbled a small sorry and asked "Why weren't you picking up the calls I was worried to death" I angrily answered "Just as you decided to show me the wonders for two days and then decided to be invisible for two days" He took a short breath and said "Some thing came up Mi Amore (My love) I'm sorry", I realised that I was too loud he really must be stuck I should see the brighter side that he was texting me atleast, I changed my tone and said "will you get me an ice cream as a compensation" He said a bold No, huhh !! I knew this man is a torture. He agreed to pull a movie night that was so fun he stayed at my place and he cooked me pasta, poured me coffee, and the worst part is that he saw my smut book collection he was stunned reading the content I think now he won't think highly of me. The last I remember I was sitting on a couch watching "A good girls guide to murder" with Cliff but in the morning I was wide awake surprisingly not on the couch but on my fluffy bed That means Cliff carried me here My god ! I'm heavy as a potato, whatever he doesn't pull gym everyday for nothing, He fulfilled his two days absence in a day he's kind of magician. Aunty Lizzy told me that he left in the morning and asked her to remind me my meds He's such a gentleman sometimes. I decided to learn some easy Italian phrases so that I could rizz Cliff but he just flopped my plan we decided to meet for lunch where I told him that I wanna go for Evy's magazine launch and guess what? He agreed!!
I'm not someone who brags but I never knew New York is so much fun I mean the two days we spent there should be counted in my best trips till date, I think the success of a trip depends on the people you've travelled with . Everything just went right we are back home after a very wholesome trip. Trust I'm not a diary person but every moment of this trip should be written in bold letters. And the best part was that Cliff was happy all along this trip. His good persona mode was turned on all the way but the question is what am I expecting from him we are not even friends yet, we don't even talk properly straight for five minutes. I think he talks to me only because Sky likes Evy and she is around me most of the times. He won't think anything of me except a buisness deal. Whatever it is, it's good until that keeps him around me it's just good, but good things don't last long actually they do but only when everyone try to protect the goodliness so let's see, His unapproachable vibe make me relate to the Taylor Swift song "You make me so happy it turns back to sad, there's nothing I hate more than what I can had" Mr. Everhart you got Voila Ashbourne humming for you so you better keep the spirit high.
