What you are about to read is a collection of short stories about Loki. Just like the branches in the great tree called Yggdrasil, these universes might happen on the edges of one another without touching completely. That means that in each of these tales that combine to form Loki's lore and legacy, he is entangled in a story where a different part of him is highlighted.

Let me explain.

In one of the stories, Loki might be seen as a respected Asgardian prince whose only motivation is to grow out of the shadow that his heroic older brother casts. In another, Loki might never have been a citizen of Asgard at all and is in fact the heir of Jotunheim's King, Laufey. Though I won't go through the pains of enumerating exactly how many different variants (you see what I did there?) of Loki you'll find in this book and I won't ruin the surprise of telling you what misadventures await him, I can promise you that he finds romance. Every. Single. Time

In each of the stories, Loki finds a new heroine that brings out these conflicting traits. He may meet an heiress, a scientist, a princess, a sorcereress or an alien symbiote - among a wide variety more - and he'll have to deal with the challenges that come his way. Some start out as his hated enemies, others learn who he really is behind his reputation as the god of mischief, and some fall head-over-heels because he is simply just that charming and handsome.

The rest is for you to discover.

On a more practical note, these short stories should be updated weekly. These should be 'large' updates where more than one story is updated at a time, but I will always prioritise a quality story over a fast writing time. Over time, there will be new stories added (right now we are starting with two) and then they will be added so that their stories will be developed and updated with the rest of them.

Feedback would be appreciated - just so that I can see what parts of the stories that you're enjoying and I love to read the comments - but it isn't necessary. If you find that you enjoyed a certain chapter, I'd be very grateful if you liked it. This also helps me track the most popular stories so that I can release new chapters quicker.

Without more to say (other than a 'please bail me out if I get arrested by the TVA for branching the timelines'),

Happy reading!
