Chapter 3

Soon the xiaolin monks arrived at the palace to see Master Fung at the front gate to see them. His hands behind his back and his face as always.

"You took quite a while. Did something happen? I got worried." Master Fung stated and the monks got off of Dojo. Raimundo got off Dojo as he carried Kari bridal style as Dojo shrinked once everyone was off him.

"Well we faked behind captured since we figured that the good one would help us get free from Chase, Wuya, and Jack which took a little time. Then while on our way back Kari got away, so we went after her and some other stuff happened, but we helped take care of the problem." Clay said setting Kari's belongings down on the ground.

"Yeah and while we were at Chase's palace poor Clay experienced the new Mercilus dragon's rage, she sure does have a bad temper." Dojo said as his whole body shivered as he remembered the look in Kaiser's eyes.

"What matters now is that everyone is safe, unharmed and we're able to keep the balance between heylin and xiaolin." Raimundo said while stretching his leg a bit from sitting on Dojo for a while. Kari hummed lightly as she turned slightly, almost falling out of Raimundo's grip.

"Rai, I'll take her to her new room." Kimiko smiled and took Kari, her eyes widening in shock.

"What is the matter Kimiko?" Omi asked.

"Guys... She's... Very light... like... Really light!" Kimiko seemed worried. "She should be this weight." Kimiko gulped and looked at Kari's face, she seemed fine. Omi tilted his head.

"Lemme see." He called then nabbed Kari, he showed the same expression. "Oh... This is most troubling." Omi stated. "She is as light as paper! ... Well, maybe a little heavier but still!" Kari mewed in her sleep and Kimiko took her back then went to Kari's room.

"I'm gonna look up why she could be so light weight in a sec. Clay, Omi bring her stuff please." kimiko stated and Omi followed Kimiko. Master Fung looked at the three then back at Raimundo and Dojo.

"Well, I'm just glad we have the Copying dragon of the moon on our side..." He gave a smile and gestured for Raimundo to follow him. "Come, dinner is nearly ready. Dojo, go tell the others that dinner is nearly finished, please." Dojo went on his way to go tell Kimiko, Clay, and Omi that dinner was just about ready and if Kari was up she was to come as well. Raimundo nodded his head to Fung as he followed by Master Fung's side.

"So um, master Fung, is there something you need to tell me? Normally you have me follow you when you have something to tell me." Raimundo said while he looked at his master beside him. Master Fung glanced at Raimundo and blinked.

"Raimundo... You remember when Wuya influenced you to join the Heylin side?" Master Fung asked kindly.

"Of course I remember, how could I forget..." Raimundo looked down to the ground a bit ashamed of himself. Master Fung put a hand on Raimundo's shoulder.

"Then you know what it was like." Master Fung then stopped, turned to be in front of his student then looked Raimundo dead center in his eyes. "Raimundo, since... Um, what was her name again?"
