Harry woke up to the unfamiliar surroundings he now slept in. Not unfamiliar per say, but still a little strange to him after almost a year or so staying in the Peverell Manor.

Potter Manor was as majestic and beautiful as Peverell manor. It stood towards the south of England and was a huge Victorian style Manor. The lush greenery surrounding it along with the large forest. The Potters and Peverells boasted of a lot of wonderful creatures in their forests. He chalked it up to something that they had been blessed through the blood line.

It's been fourteen days since he arrived back here with his family. Although it was a bit hard to adjust to having parents now, even though they are his grandparents in reality, he had come to accept it. They were his blood. They might not have been his birth parents, but since he didn't know them at all, he was not complaining.

He still remembered the day he performed the adoption ritual. He was frankly surprised and internally pleased that they would take such a decision. He welcomed their decision and also the reasoning that came with it.

But most importantly he was happy that he listened to his heart.

All of this was new to him. The early morning greetings rather than the death threats that he was used to, almost all his life. A very mischievous brother who was a joyous bundle of energy and mischief rather than a hostile cousin who was content in kicking and punching him around and playing ' Harry Hunting' with him.

A strict house elf who is very keen on making sure that we would not keep messing up. The role which had seemingly been passed to Tippy, the Potter House elf from Matty.

He wondered if this was what having a family meant. Would this have been the case if his parents were alive? Would he have siblings? Would he have been allowed to play quidditch like he did? Would he have been learning such magic that no youngster must learn instead of living his teenage years?

He didn't know and he didn't want to know. Although the past episodes caught up with him, he had a new life to look forward to. New life, that would shape his life. He could only hope that he would live this life without any other machinations like his previous one where his path was literally set and played by Dumbledore.

He was already facing a new problem. The Ministry of Magic. Apparently, a few of the shopkeepers bore witnesses to the events of that night, according to the Newspapers. Harry couldn't help but scoff. The entire thing was rigged and it was plain as daylight. If people had truly been witness to the events, then they would have known that this was not a murder but a

clear cut case of conspiracy. They were severely outnumbered. This was the work of one of Voldemort's lackeys. Someone who had the ear of the minister.

He had a plan ready and he needed to run it by his father once. It seemed good enough. One that will seemingly halt a lot of things if executed correctly. He would have executed it by himself, but now he had a family.

That was another first for Harry. All his life, he had been left alone to deal with all the screw ups that were an added benefit to his life. Now though, he had a family. He had people who cared about what happened to him.

He still remembered the first day after he moved to Potter Manor. He had disappeared from the house before any others had woken up, not informing them about the routine that he followed. He had come back sweating after a long session of workouts and one look at his mother's expression told him that he was in big trouble.
