"And just wait for the spell. Don't make haste. If you want to redirect your spell, you should wait until the last moment." Harry explained.

"Make sure you create a box around you. The moment the spell enters your imagined boundary, make sure to imagine that you are swatting a ball away. " Harry explained.

"The difficult part is to amass the power and concentration needed." He continued.

"But more than the power, you need to have utmost concentration. A single moment of lapse will lead to being hit." He explained.

"It's sort of a banishing charm. It has the very same effect. The spell, 'deflector'. And I urge caution. If you practice a lot, you will be able to manage second level spells." He said.

"By practice, you will be able to move onto higher level spells." He replied and Bellatrix nodded.

It was a very weird request. One he certainly didn't expect from the girl in question.

Bellatrix had all but demanded that he teach her.

She had been an excellent student. An extremely good fighter. She grasped the concepts quickly. Her wand work was exemplary. She was a model duelist. Harry was frankly impressed. She worked very hard in training and she was becoming better every day.

The others trained with Harry as much as possible. And all of them were good. Harry welcomed the company very much. He was used to all this, doing things alone. But Bellatrix had been a very pleasant company. She trained with him every day.

Harry remembered the day very well.

FLASHBACK

"Why do you want me to teach you, Bellatrix?" Asked a flabbergasted Harry.

Bellatrix huffed.

"I don't want to repeat this, Harry." Her tone was filled with a hint of amusement and annoyance.

"But.."

"Ok just shut up." She snapped.

"You are the best I have ever seen with a wand. I want to learn Dueling from you. That's it. Full stop." She glared at the boy.

"I always wanted to be a duelist. That was my dream and is still my dream. I would have asked my grandfather or Uncle Charlus, but they are very busy. But that would have been moot. You are miles better than them already." She said, amused at the cute blush that adorned his face.

"So I want you to teach me. You will teach me. Is that clear?" She ordered.

Harry could only nod, not wanting to anger the quick-tempered woman.

Bellatrix smiled.

"Good." She said and then she did something that he had never expected from Bellatrix Black of all people.

She leaned forward and kissed him closer to his lips. "Thank you, Harry." She whispered, her eyes glazed in what seemed to be desire, but Harry being who he is, was too dumb to understand.

"I'll see you soon." She whispered and left.
