When Rhaenyra was young she despised the idea of marriage at the hands of her father, she swore then and their she would never subject her children to the same fate, but Rhaenyra knew that sometimes things had to be scarified. Promises had to be broken. So as silence engulfed the council room she mutter the words that felt like poison on her tongue.

"I propose a marriage between my oldest daughter...."

Vera was watching as Harwin said goodbye to everyone, she felt out of place, she knew that she had a different father to her brothers and she knew that their father was Harwin. Vera felt like her grief was a burden, it was unnecessary, why should she cry when her father was still alive (she hopes). So when Harwin got to her she couldn't help but let a few tears drop.

"Promise you'll come back. They need you" was all the older man heard before the young girl went to console her brother. Harwin knew what she was talking about and he was surprised that such a young girl has figured it out and that she didn't hate him for it.

She put a brave face on, as she hugged her youngest brother as he sobbed into her shoulder, to young to understand who Harwin was but not to young to feel an attachment to the man. The small family which was only shrinking spent the day consoling each other.

Vera loved her family, so when her mother told her that they would be moving to Dragonstone, Vera didn't know how to feel. On one hand she was happy that she got to go on a new adventure, as her mother put it, but she also didn't want to leave her other family, her uncles and her aunt. So as soon as the words left the mother's mouth she ran to them. She only had a few minutes before her mother wished to leave.

She was only able to find her sweet aunt Helena,  bug in hand. "Helena, I must speak with you urgently. And you must inform Aegon and Aemond, as I can't see to find them." Vera started "Mother has us moving to Dragonstone, and that means we wont see each other everyday." Once Vera mutter those words her eye washed over with tears "I wanted to let you know that we can send letters everyday, so we don't miss each other. Only if you want to though, that also needs to be said to Aegon and Aemond." The young girl felt arms wrap around her stomach as tried to hold the tears back. Before both girl knew it the were wrapped in the embrace of each other.

"I will write to you everyday" Helena's soft voice spoke "You must go now, your mother is looking for you."

Aegon new that nice things didn't last. Love didn't last. But never did he think that the girl he thought was sunshine reincarnated would leave him. Vera was leaving him (everyone) and he didn't know when he as going to hear her laugh, see her smile, listen to her rants about a flower she read about . The reason Aegon gets up everyday was leaving and there was nothing he could do about it. His happiness was gone.

Aemond was feeling the same as his brother. Vera was the only one never to make fun of him, the only one to ever willingly hangout with him. His best friend. Without her, Aegon's pranks would know, no limits. Aemond's life was falling apart right Infront of him and he didn't know how to stop it. His best friend was gone.
