"WHAT A PAIN.."

Miyako was sent to visit the hospital where this mysterious kaiju made an appearance, jumping from building to building with her staff placed neatly on her back. She had recently received a wrist injury, making captain ashiro concerned for her performance in battle so she gave her this mission instead in case of any other kaiju showing up at that location.

"A small-scale Kaiju has emerged in yokohoma. Please evacuate to the nearest shelter!"

The alert blasted throughout the city, warning the citizens about the danger approaching, but almost all of them didn't bother to evacuate since the kaiju was a small-scale and they trusted the kaiju defense force to handle it.

Miyako followed her captain's command and was making her way towards the hospital. Just as she arrived to her assigned destination, she felt the ground shake and a loud explosion was heard from the other side of town. Another kaiju perhaps?

She placed a finger on her earpiece "Okonogi, any update on the captain?" She asked "Captain Ashiro's team is already on their way to handle the other kaiju, yozora-san" Okonogi replied, making miyako let out a relieved sigh as she headed inside the hospital. Maybe she shouldn't be the hero for once.

"Nope, I can't do this"

Miyako turned around and rapidly ran through the streets of the now evacuated streets of yokohama. Scythe in hand, ready for battle.

But as soon as she arrived, the kaiju had already been neutralized and all that was left was blood splattered everywhere.

She noticed that captain ashiro hasn't arrived and was going to make a run for it before she did arrive and scold her for disobeying orders.

"Mi-Miss!"

She turned her head to the direction of the voice and was met by white haired boy with an injured woman on his back plus a little girl hiding behind him. 'He's cute..'

"This woman is badly injured!" He pointed to the woman on his back, she was unconscious as she held the hand of her daughter who was shaking. "Are you also injured?" Miyako asked the little girl as the child shook her head, signaling her that she's okay. "Let me carry her" Miyako told the boy as she slid back her scythe on her back, extending her arms, initiating the white haired boy to hand over the woman to her. The boy gently gave the woman to miyako, the woman let out a groan in pain as the boy prepared to leave the site while the girl stuck to her mother.

"Where are you going?" Miyako asked, making the boy slightly tense up. "I-I need to check up on my friend" He replied, stuttering in the process as miyako nodded at him, signaling that he can go. He nodded back in acknowledgement and ran away from where miyako stood. Just as his figure was nowhere to be seen, A voice spoke from behind her

"Platoon leader yozora."

Miyako shuddered as she turned around to be met by her captain's cold gaze. The emergency services was right behind the captain's vehicle as they got off, heading straight to the woman cradled in miyako's arms and took her to the ambulance for her injuries and blood loss.

Captain ashiro just sighed at the platoon leader as she looked around the area "Accompany the woman to the hospital, and interview the victims about the kaiju spotted there." The captain instructed as miyako saluted in response, and walked towards the ambulance while the captain asked the little girl about what happened here and who did this as they were nowhere to be seen.
